Can I take fish oil and clomid together and also can I start at day 2?

Yes you can. Fish Oil is just oil extracted from deep sea fishes which is rich in nutrients like Omega 3. It will just be like eating fish so I believe it won't interact negatively with clomid. Am praying you return with a bfp since it seems that Ovulation issue is the only issue you have. Clomid has several days you can start depending on the result needed. So yes clomid can be started on day 2,3,5 and taken normally for 5days but some Drs do extended clomid cycle and patients take it for more than 5days. Follow your Drs instruction and stick to the most popular 5days if that's what he advised. I think one of the days increases chances of multiple eggs while one of the days will provide one egg that will be very good and solid. Take care.

I know some people usually spot for like three days after their periods, so they use panty liners. Usually not a big deal.

Mamas in the house,i hail o! You guys are doing such wonderful jobs.

So,i had a terribe sharp pain by my lower left side yesterday dat I had to be rushed to clinic by dh.i was quickly given injection to subside d pain.then we ran a pt test which was negative and a pelvic scan test which showed a normal uterus and ovary,then a full count test which showed I had malaria and it was very high.i had no symptoms o.

I was very dissatisfied with d pelvic test,my mum kept questioning the operator and den he said we cld confirm why not had so much unbearable pain thru tvs and he did it for free for us.

To cut d long story short...he said I had too many eggs that don't reach maturation.that I don't ovulate.that a woman is suppose to have one or two eggs in the ovary during ovulation.he said my own eggs are fyting for space so becos of that they don't get big enof to burst.infact I didn't understand his terms.he conclude that I had pcos.i was shocked to my marrows.ive never had pcos symptoms.
I've always had plenty egg white cervical mucus every cycle and it occurs same time every evry cycle.im bothered.

I don't ovulate yet I hav very thick drawy mucus that last 5 days evry cycle which was only a mirage deceiving me dt I ovulate every month.

Hello Sis, good to see you posting cheerfully and believing God. Hope you're continuing to hold unto God's report and not the medical report. God who defied the medical report and did it for you before will surely do it again. Continue praising him and having fun BD with your DH. Please go for another scan in a new cycle to confirm, don't just rely on this one alone. You might be ovulating just that it might be a poor Ovulation and the Egg is not usually God enough. With that said,

My Dear Sis, you're not alone. That's also the Drs report for me : PCOS, Hormonal Imbalance and High Prolactin (Lacting Boobs / Galactorrhea). My Dr told me that cysts are caused by hormonal imbalance and that once the hormones are balanced, the cysts get resolved. For PCOS it can be managed through balancing the hormones and using Ovulation induction drugs. There are several drugs and supplements for this. Different Drs use different protocols. Some combine drugs with supplements like inositol, Omega 3,6 & 9.

One of the ways of managing PCOS is by changing your diet to a low Carbohydrates diet, loosing weight if you're a fat/overweight cyster. My pcos and hormonal imbalance has gotten better since I lost weight. There are some women who are slim (thin cysters) but still have PCOS, it's still beneficial that they go on a low carb diet and eat healthy, in their case weight loss is not needed.

High Prolactin and leaking Boobs have been discussed recently with lots of home remedies and Orthodox remedies. You can go with any of it. My Dr prescribed Dostinex 1 tablet same day each week for the leaky Boobs. Then Omega 3 & 6 which can be safely taken throughout the cycle for hormonal imbalance. He said he might have to give me Ovulation drugs when we get back to ttc again (still on Myomectomy recovery). He said it depends on the status of my labs. He might also do Ovulation drugs for me because I told him I want to ttc twins but all will be dependent on my lab status then. He said pcos women have the tendency of releasing multiple eggs especially when given a little help so care needs to be taken in given the help to avoid 4,5,6 ... babies in one pregnancy. Am praying for twins but won't even mind Triplets sef.

All you've stated is no big deal according to my Dr, they're easily treated and managed for a woman to conceive and have children. Your Dr just needs to work with you and with God everything will work out fine so don't be bothered so much, just be bothered enough to take the right action, hope you get my drift.

Also note that some PCOS women get pregnant without the Drs help just by making lifestyle changes to their diets, drinking lots of water throughout the day, exercising and all which helps balance the hormones and takes care of the PCOS. Besides God works directly too just as he also works through Drs.

I'll suggest you visit this site for women with PCOS, I've found information there and women's experiences there very useful. I always discuss what I learn there with my Dr and he seems to agree with most. The website is www.soulcysters.net

You're always welcome Dear. It's all God. I don't know it all but continue to learn here and elsewhere daily. I only give back what I've learned.

I've also gotten lots of knowledge and support from Mamas here over the years and still continue to. In fact even with my recent Myomectomy, the Mamas here who have undergone the procedure encouraged me when I started having cold feet the last moments, I made a post here and got several encouraging replies; some of these Mamas where also and continue to be one of the greatest support immediately after the surgery and up till now. They were checking up on me severally throughout the day and I constantly disturbed them with questions on every twitch and itch I felt while at the hospital. Just generally getting support and trying to double check what my Dr was telling me and knowing that am on the right path. I thank God I pulled through and all is well.

Thanks for your prayers for us and congratulations again. Am not sure of your question but I've read that in early pregnancy increasing water intake helps with the cramps as sometimes the cramps is your body telling you that you need water. I'll suggest you also ask at the "Pregnant after TTC " thread, lots of experienced and currently pregnant Mamas there, you'll get answers faster there I think than here. Also talk to your Dr, but please dont take any medication that is not prescribed by your Dr. It can be fatal. That shall not be your portion, Amen. The preggy and experienced sabi Mamas here am sure will also answer when they come online. I believe some Mamas here are on 2nd, 3rd ... missionary journey and might know.

The rate of success when using in vitro fertilization will depend upon several factors such as the age and health of the biological mother who is providing the eggs. In many cases, the rates of pregnancy are actually higher when using eggs that are taken from biological mothers who are otherwise infertile versus when eggs are taken from fertile women.



There are three stages to host surrogacy:

Egg donation: the female IP, or the egg donor, undergo special procedures to extract a number of eggs
Fertilisation: the egg is fertilised with semen in the laborator
Transfer: the fertilised egg is transferred into the womb of the surrogate mother
The fertilised egg can be transferred to the surrogate either ‘fresh’ or after having been de-frosted from egg storage. For a fresh egg transfer the monthly cycles of the surrogate and the egg donor must be synchronised, and this is done using hormone medications. In cases where embryos have been frozen already and the de-frosted embryos are being transferred some IVF clinics will insist on the surrogate mother taking hormone medications to ‘ready’ her womb lining.

Host surrogacy with donor eggs

Some IPs are not in a position to create embryos themselves, due to some medical reasons, . There are several options available:

Known donor eggs. This is where a friend or relative of the IPs donates eggs in an IVF clinic. –
Anonymous donor eggs. Most IVF clinics have their own egg donors available, often with a waiting list. You would need to make your own enquiries about this with the clinic of your choice. In this case you will not meet the egg donor and would receive limited information about her, unless she had specifically chosen to remove her right to anonymity. In all cases, children born through egg donation have the legal right to receive information about the egg donor when they turn 18.
Gestational surrogacy is just as safe as going through a traditional biological pregnancy. Prior to starting the surrogacy process, the surrogate is first screened in order to determine her overall health. If she is not deemed healthy enough to carry the embryo, another surrogate must be chosen.


As of now, the most common surrogacy destinations for single parents are Nepal, Mexico, Russia and Cambodia. Single parent surrogacy is also allowed in some states of USA but, looking at the cost of surrogacy program in Western countries, most of intended parents prefer to travel abroad for cost effective surrogacy options.

hi everyone...I decided to post finally...Its been 7 cycles for my husband and I.. I'm 26 and he is 31. I 'm becoming very worried really...cried when AF showed up 2 days ago. Its not an easy road..dont want to go to the hospital yet.I'm concerned about my cycle however because its between 33 - 35 days and I think its long and AF lasts just 2 days how can I improve the flow...Help. ### I dont know how to use this app very well yet ###

@Ugommaazan: welcome sweetie, may ur stay be very short. If u are very worried dear, visit a good gynae and carry out some test on urself and DH. Tho according to doctors, u shud only get worried after a year but be it as it may there is no harm in carrying out some test after 7 cycles.It is well dearie.
