As supervising minister of education, ASUU strike was his legacy. And now as governor, he is recalling students. He is saying he cant pay N3Billion annually for students for a state as rich as Rivers.

Rivers state generated N11Billion as IGR in january 2016.. One wonders what he does with all these money.

Let's not wish them ill luck because we are not beneficiaries. I bet your opinion would've been different if it was you or your relative that will be affected.

The only problem I see with overseas scholarship is that most of the beneficiaries never return for the state that sponsored them to benefit from their knowledge.

But if you ask me I'll say Nigeria's educational system need a lot of improvement.

Yeah just like he shouldn't withdraw her, state and federal governments shouldn't withdraw students on scholarships at this stage of their education.

Now thats correct , we re back to reality.

Most of these kids dont return after their programs they get juicy jobs abroad and remain, they only come back to show off their wealth and flee back.

Its ironic that a stare government has to spend its meager resources to provide cheap labor for countries abroad.

Tell me what has rivers state benefited from these students who completed their programs . ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

Wikes approach is realistic, workers in the scholarship benefit from these programs thru kickbacks.

Its a shame that rich politicians who steal govt funds still want free money for their kids, what do they use their ill gotten wealth for just to buy fancy cars, build houses , drink ogogoro and sponsor militants to cause trouble in the state.
