Its quite obvious while no one is attending to ur case cos its self explanatory and I think u already know d ans. If u dnt av enough money for ur studies y nt be patient and source out sponsors from either ur family members or a benevolent individual or company as d case maybe becos while u are applying u av to show dat u av enough funds for ur tuition and for d proposed period of stay least u get denied for insufficient funds.

I copied the information below from the same website. Maybe you didnt check well.

"Do I need to submit an English Proficiency Test?

If the medium of instruction during your undergraduate education was a language other than English, you will need to submit an English Proficiency Test that meets our minimum requirement. This should be met prior to applying and must be met before an application is reviewed.

If your post-secondary education was in a country whose official language is not English but the medium of instruction was English, you will be required to submit proof such as an English medium letter issued directly by the institution

If you have not completed two or more years, full-time, at a Canadian university or a university at which English was the primary language of instruction, or have not completed a graduate degree at a university where English was the primary language of instruction, you will be required to provide certification of English language proficiency through one of the accepted examinations listed below. Scores are valid for two years from the test date"

Thanks , I've read this several times its the same thing all schools have on their sites , just that some list the countries dey recognise while others don't like the one in question. For the fact that it is stated that they accept countries whose native language is English does not mean they recognise nigeria as an English speaking country. An example is university of calgary they say exactly the same thing on their site , but when you start ur application and you choose ur home country as nigeria you are expected to submit your toefl result bfor u can be considered for admission.

You should have apply for thesis courses if u know you know say "Pepe" no dey na. Anyway next options if I were you is to:
A) pray and seek financial help from family and friends ( Expect story like "no shishi" and more).
B) Restrategies to apply to courses with enough funding (Might have to wait another year for your dream to be a reality).

#Gurus might have a better option.
#Wish you the best

Advise to others that want to apply to schools. Don't just apply to schools, check school fees and funding available. Be truthful to yourself but have faith. Shalom!

Thank you. But can you suggest a school that I don't have to pay much for masters?

There's a 2-paged printout given at the medical Examination Centre containing your picture and biodata, scan those pages, then type in the form's code at the top. That code is what is used by CIC to confirm from the Medical Examination Centre.

Email admission office for any curiosity. Providing answers to your questions is their job but don't make it obvious to them. Shalom!

Nairaland good people please I need ur assistance more especially to those that are in Canada already. Please is it possible to defer semester and work to pay the next school fees and continue? Cox na only 1st semester money I get and my friend in Seneca college said its possible. Don't want to be misslead to avoid problems over der. Plz help

Please don't even consider it! U are only allowed to work if you meet the conditions of your study permit. The condition is that you MUST BE ENROLLED & ACTIVELY PURSUING YOUR STUDIES!

IF you meet the above conditions, then you are allowed to work 20 hours during the semester and full time during SCHEDULED BREAKS or holidays eg Summer and Christmas

Also, once u stop meeting the above conditions, then you MUST STOP WORKING immediately!

Remember they are able to track this because you must present your SIN (Social Insurance Number) to a prospective employer before they can employ you!

Abeg don't do the one that they will use to wait for you when u want to apply for Post Graduate Work Permit or something, then they will remind you that you violated the conditions of your study permit, and for that reason, deny you all other applications. . It's not worth it!

Several folks have gotten into a big mess as a result!
