Su 35 tested in Algeria

A fighter Su 35 conducted a series of tests in Algeria during the past week . This battery of tests covered the pilot segments, radar and weaponry. They were held in Tamanrasset testing polygon.
Algeria, which already has a fleet of SU30 MKA, which will be reinforced by a second control 28 SU30 SM. The other derivative Flanker interested Algeria is the Su34 in its export version (Su32), a first batch of 12 aircraft have already been ordered for the air force. It will likely be followed by several other lots.
the interest for the Su 35 was expressed in five years, but the Algerian authorities have preferred to await his actual entry into service and the lessons learned from its first export customer.
The opening match of these two devices in the Syrian conflict appears to have finally convinced Algiers.

Egypt to lead efforts to establish joint military force in North Africa

Egyptian ambassador to Ethiopia Abu-Bakr Hanafi announced on Friday that his country is to lead efforts to establish a military force in North Africa, Anadolu reported the official Egyptian news agency saying.

“Leadership of this force is part of the efforts to maintain peace and security in Africa,” Hanafi said before the start of the 26th African Union Summit, which is being held in Addis Ababa.

More details about the force are yet to be known.

Meanwhile, Egypt announced on Thursday that it was chosen by the African Union to be a member of the African Union’s Peace and Security Council (PSC) on behalf of the North African region. It said that 47 out of 48 member countries voted in favour of Egypt becoming a member, which lasts for three years.

wawoo very nice the first T90 Vs TOW2 that i see . Shtora-1 emitters were open but not active for some reason . As for the frontal dynamic protection, it worked as it should, no penetration

Its makes you go WOW! if convoys of alshabaab ferrying their loot were caught up in this strikes,they had a very bad day indeed.in most alshabaab photos they show the attack,the aftermath and then display of their loots in their hideout .now alshabaab haven't shown how many G-3's,M-4's,crates of ammo e.t.c they took,what happened to those convoys carry the loot.in the recent video we only saw ahmed iman ali holding one M-4,what happened to the rest of the loot .i remember some fake journalist who keep tweeting bulls@#$ from somalia ,claiming during KAF attack on el adde alshabaab were responding with anti -aircraft guns.tell me who in his right mind would try to expose himself while KAF is dropping such ordnance

The T-90 is a great tank. There's a video i saw, the T-90 defeated 2 TOW missiles fired at it. The T-90 completely outsmarted the missiles, using electronic counter-measures to jam the TOW lock-ons. I'm sure you've seen the video.



I don't think a T-90 deployed in Syria has been defeated by a TOW.
