This is way too bad. The students were really mis-informed. Kindly visit http://www.nbte.gov.ng/ and download 2014 NBTE Directory of Accredited Programmes in Polytechnics, Technical and Vocational Institutions in Nigeria 17th Edition and see how many Federal/ state institutions currently have accreditation. That means all institutions in Nigeria will be razed? The school in question is listed as No. 92 in the NBTE Directory (pg Bleep) established in just 2012. The school passed resource inspection stage to be given interim accreditation ( IA). Though, the IA expired in 2014 but dt doesnt make it illegal. NBTE will never visit your school on yearly basis. they have their time table for regional visitation. These criminal students must face d full wrath of the law.

So, how does this madness rectify the issues?

This is the bane of Private tertiary institutions in Nigeria, they look flashy and new but 80 percent of their courses arent accredited.

The greedy owners are only interested in raking millions from hapless students and arent interested in educating and equipping them to face life after school, some arent even recognized as their students are barred from NYSc programs.

Students should scrutinize these new schools before they waste funds on them, to be jambite abi tertiary student no be levels o.
