Whenever I hear people use the word "friend" to describe those they have "over-familiar" association/relationship with him, I laugh hard. Real men I know never ascribe the word "friend" to all that hovers around them, no. Though, they are compassionate, kind and considerate- the give conscientiously and never discriminate yet, they never pull down the wall that demarcate them from their beneficiaries and contemporaries... they never loose guard.

The axiom that states "over-familiarity breeds contempt" is still very potent. Whenever any association or relationship creates room for over-familiarity, automatically one have created room for frenemy especially when one of the parties involved is an opportunist. Therefore, it's foolish to count on such person one shares over-familiarity with because when you need such person most, first thing such a petty person will remember is any perceived and reserved wrong one might have meted to him either by commission or omission and will leverage on that to backstab one.
