in this spate of insecurity? MSSN goofed big time. Allowing their flawed sentiment becloud their sense of reasoning is highly appalling. This isn't religious tolerance but flabbergasting jingoism that should be discouraged in its entirety.

Its a pity. Some people just want to write something sha. Man checking boys, woman checking girls. What is insecurity in this? Others should abandon their religion because of religious tolerance.

So they should allow the 'Hijabians' enter the center freely without proper security check? Blame your Boko Haram brothers for that, not JAMB.
Not surprised, common sense not common.
Re: JAMB: Muslim Candidates In Hijab Harassed - MSSN by Ashabam(m): 2:50pm On Mar 01, 2016
Only Allah will be to our rescue in this country, before bokoharam bring their stupidity about Islam we are been intimidated, so what do you expect now that they have given them enough excuses? All I know is that Islam is here already and it is here for real. No matter the level of intimidation cannot not change anything. My sisters in Islam I really feel for you, may Allah reward you abundantly. They want you to be walking around naked like they do but Allah won't allow them. Do your exam and leave the place. Allah knows your intention and theirs.

Truth be said....
Thorough searching of the hijabians sister is cool. But, delaying or refusing to allow them in, because they are putting on Hijab is totally unacceptable.
Moreover, why should an exam be fixed during jummat time? More like, there should also be an exam on Sunday Morning!

Prejudice apart, The Examination regulatory Bodies should create a level play field for Religious place.

I ain't no religion Bigot, I'm just being Vociferous.
you're already sounding like a religious bigot! Firstly, is Sunday a work day in Nigeria? Secondly, is Friday not a work day? Thirdly, if she uses the hijab to conceal 'expo' how will you then handle it? Fourthly, are you a Nigerian who is not aware of bombs? Finally, its high time we stop letting religion rid us of our common sense. So if the songo worshiper says his day of worship is Mondays jamb should give heed to their plight innit?
Re: JAMB: Muslim Candidates In Hijab Harassed - MSSN by amadykarofi(m): 3:23pm On Mar 01, 2016
This is really bad...we will not protest but we will continue talking since in Nigeria we have freedom of religion..

and yes, common sense cannot be common, if not the so-called Amir would know that Terrorists disguise themselves with this Hijab and destroy so many lives and that must be stopped, muslim harrasment or not!

And pls, don't be suprised. Cause, am pretty sure you won't be suprised if (which we don't wish for) news of bomb blast at one of this JAMB centres hovers around the internet. No sentiments here man.

Can't just figure out what you wrote here. Which side of the divide do you belong too? Read up what you wrote and relate with my comment. And next time, don't compare me with the ponmo eating governor. We ain't in the same league coz he's a perpetual noisemaker. ".... before it degenerates into crisis..." is a language in itself capable of generating a crisis.
It is better to be proactive by engaging with JAMB to mutually seek ways to address the issues they feel strongly about and the now obviously genuine security concerns it raises.

So you do not write WAEC/NECO or attend job interviews on Fridays? You all know how people lost their precious life trying to keep the sanctity of hijab in the country. Are you so insensitive or you care more for hijab than people's life? Friday is a full working day unless you want to constitutionally change that. Please stop all these propaganda with hijab! Life has no duplicate, life is precious!
So what you trynna say? undecided that they concealed IED under their hijabs Just be rational, and face Facts.

You should listen to yourself. It's like you just came back from Syria. Face the facts yourself, visit the IDP'S in the northeast and face your facts.

Fridays are weekends, not public holidays. And on weekends, papers are written esp in schools. Talk of illiteracy!

Women in Islamic custom don't possess their ownselves or right to make their own decision. Ur opinion about what I said does not count.

Comments like this would not solved any problem but create more. So you expect Jamb to come and take permission from mssn before it will fix exam time. Will removing hijab for one day or few hours have effect on the candidate ? No. There is saying that goes thus- when you are in Rome, you behave like romans. We should not allow sentiments to override our sense of reasoning or judgement. God help this country.
