Yes, I got a mail from the embassy asking me to submit a self address courier envelope addressed to myself, my travel insurance stating date of departure and my passport.

Am also aware dat u did an interview before admission, how was it like and wat were d questions...and also do u know d criteria for selection... Dat was why i sent u a pm... I heard someone mention here that you can scan it to a friend in Germany to help you submit. Before you do that though, I hope you have gotten your tax identification number, some peeps here used there passport number as the TIN. Read like 10 pages back asap

You should have applied for your visa with the photocopy of your blocked account form and your admission letter.
Book for your visa now since you don't have time. You mustn't wait to receive the blocked account number before you book for interview.

Yeah u right. The course is not bad though time consuming ie...classes morning till evening, labs and protocols..seminars to present and u listen to presentations etc. The city is in the southern part with a lil dialet difference from the original German. Weather is not bad...but snows èven when other parts are not. Interview was via skype...questions like...why do u wanna study in Germany, why tum, what are ur aims and objectives, what are ur intentions after studies and motivations, mention some of the modules that interests u, few questions from ur Bsc. Eg. I was shown some biochemical structures to identify as a biochemist... I dunno their criteria. Everyone in my class was interviewed... I hope I answered ur questions... all the best.

Also I heard as part of the requirements for obtaining a German student visa, one have to pay a certain amount of about euros 8000 into a German blocked account. I'd like to know if its compulsory to do this before one can apply to the German embassy for a student visa or is it possible for one to apply without necessarily funding the block account
