Asbestos is no longer conducive for human health after 25 years. Its carcinogenic especially the dust coming from it as it ages with time.

Google the health implications of asbestos roofing sheets. Most European countries have banned the use of it as a roofing sheet

asbestos is better but the clause is that the building must be very solid. in terms of weight, asbestos is very heavy and gives a building heavy cracks if it is not strong enough. in places where the building is not strong enough use aluminium

I don't really like Asbestos due to he carcinogenic stereotype. But Aluminum has a way of getting really ugly over time.

Dont you know that Asbestos causes CANCER? It has been banned in most developed countries of the world, dude!

Aluminum is better. This is because, heat dissipation in aluminum is faster than asbestos in the night. While it will take a longer time for asbestos to dissipate the heat gathered during the day. However, on cost analysis, asbestos is cheaper.

Asbestos causes Cancer. That is why it has been phased out in almost every country in the world. Don't just buy it because it is cheap. It could end up poisoning your family and your neighbourhood in the long run. Imagine your little kid drinking rain water running off your roof and getting Cancer. I don't think you want to go that route

Sir it strongly depends on your environment. The both have their pros nd cons. Like asbestos, you can use it around a place close to a vegetative encironment, or in other word, where there would be enough ventilations.
Its advantage however is that its long lasting and can serve without leakage for years, but not in an area close to a school or where children plays, they would break it all.
Alluminum sheets however, is not as durable as the above mentioned. Its prone to rust and at times very strong winds can..... But its okay cus it disposes heat away faster than that of the asbestors.
So choose sir....

are you sure? I grew up in a house where asbestos. Was used for more than 26yrs,and there is no record of Cancer! Just curious oo!enlighten me abeg!

Aluminium is d best and d gauge which is d thickness is varies from 0.45mm,0.55mm to 0.70mm... you can have d 0.45mm within 900naira bt I don't know when d dollar has risen ooooo....
