Thanks DonaTee, I sincerely appreciate your suggestions. Please I have some questions; is vasoprin safe in first trimester? And what prenatals can i use please as my Gynae said i shouldn't use anything except folic acid. I will speak with him anyway about it again.

monitor their student nurses and they
use innocent lives to practice. A
couple we know welcomed their new
baby into the world two weeks ago in
a reputable private hospital. They had
registered in a good govt hospital too
but those ones went on strike before
the lady put to bed.

The new born baby developed
jaundice while they were still at the
hospital. The parents asked to be
discharged so they could take the
baby to be treated with herbs for fast
cure. The hospital said no that they
will handle it.
I don't know how it happened that
those on duty on this fateful day were
student nurses! Maybe cos it was
night. The nurses inserted drip into
the baby to give him blood. Student
nurses oo...
It seems they did not know how to
properly handle jaundice .

What an unfortunate story. Many hospitals -private and government don't even allow nurses set drips talk less of the one for blood transfusion.

Though with cases of jaundice requiring blood transfusion it means its an extreme case wi higher risks for the baby!

May God comfort the family...

It all started after my 2nd edd...meanwhile while I and doctor had reached an agreement that I will be induced this coming Thursday, I accepted being that my baby was overdue. on the early hours 4th of march, I started feeling pains on my back...serious pain oooo I told my sleepy dh to massage my back...he just touched my back and said I will b fine. But that was just d beginning, I started walking around d while house so that the contraction will stop but it was as if am adding pains to my pain. I sat down it continued, I lied down walahi na dis it worse pass.


Dh face was as if he wanted to cry...who cares? I gave him a bony face dey shout ooo u don c wetin u cause? He just kept silent...d way he kept his face made me to start pitying him...but d pains will not allow me to say sorry. It continued like this till 6pm when dh said that we should prepare for a church program...I refused dis time around he knew that the pain was really heavy...fast forward to 8pm I went for strolling and came back, hubby bought me pineapples but I was scared of eating it cos I tot it will increase my contractions.


My mums friend who is a midwife in Aminu kano teaching hospital called to know how I was doing, I told her that the pain was increasing rapidly...she just laughed and said am not in labour. D kind eye wey I eye am fit kill person. She came over to our place and checked me and told me that I was just 3cm saying that I should wait till 8 or 9am in d morning so that it will dilate more. I was wallowing in serious pains.


Hubby saw was uncomfortable cos I was in pains,he didn't know what to do,he decided to give me what he knew I love most- JOHN LEGENDS ***ALL OF ME***. Gosh! I love that song. But alas! I threw away the phone when he brought it close.
d pain became unbearable around 11:15 am, hubby drove me to the hospital...thank God my Mums friend was on duty that night. I entered the Labour ward, hubby was told to wait outside. I told them that I was in labour they just laughed and said if I dey labour I no go get mouth to talk. Dey told me to go and come back in the morning but my Mum's friend intervened. They gave me a bed and checked me. I was 5cm that was 12:30am.


Now the real pain began, I tried to catch a sleep but will suddenly wake up cos of sharp pains. D Hausa woman beside me was ehhhh nawa ooo. She was shouting barking ranting***weyooooo allahhh weyooo allah abdulahi*** I didn't even know when I said sorry to her, she was 10cm but couldnt push.
I didnt know when I started shouting mine...Jesus moooo muo nso anwukwalanu moooo....  elijah come oo...mary ooo holyghost ooo...my waist don disappear ooo. nurse come and check me ooo ( me wey dey fear for vaginal examination dey beg for one) abeg naaa baby wan come out ooooo...I was bleating like goat... d worst part was I plaited  fine hair for omugwo...it was as if my hair was d cause...U cant believe I started pulling off my hair. D nurses were busy packing it for me to show me what I did. Fast forword to 4am the matron came to check me and said I was just 6cm...whaaaaat? I started shouting nurse make am 10cm ooooo....give me hot injection abeg NO,  give me hot drip NO give me epidural NO in fact l wan go for CS, NO.

folic is okay. Most gynae prefer it til 12wks dey may now allow pregnacare n d likes. So u av to eat healthy too

vasoprin is 75 m.g low dose aspirin usually given to women wit history of miscarriage all tinz being equal. It helps prevent mc tho its usually advicedto start it ontime if ppossible b4 pregnancy. Except d person has ulcer

My sister, this is the first time I heard jaundice killed a baby in this day and age! Its a bad illness but if properly and promptly managed, it wont be fatal! God help us all. Its more painful cos its the couple's first child though they did not hv to ttc but all the same, its not easy na.

This is the first time i'll sleep all through the night without waking up in between o. Yesterday must have beem special. I hope it can remain like this. Premature vigilante nor be beans

Episode 2

 Meanwhile d woman was wheeled to the theatre where she delivered her baby. I started shouting around the whole labour room...I no go born till 4years time. If una c me use matchet nd cutoff my legs. They were laughing and all they could say was c u next year. I thought of a trick to calm my back ache. I started shouting nurse I want to poo poo pushhhhhh one of the nurse came to check me...I kukuma tell am abeg rub my back I no wan poo poo, She just smiled and left.

It was 7am in the morning d nurse came to check me and said am 8cm dilated...chaii I tot it would have reach 100cm as per d rate of pain I was having. My mums friend really tried for me. Consoling me. Another woman was brought in sharp sharp she delivered twins normal and breech. I started loosing strength. Just around 7:30am I felt something between my thigh...NURSEEEEEEE I WANT TO PUSHHHHH I dey serious ooooo ah no dey joke did time oooo.

Immediately dey came and saw that baby's head is out, they gathered their items to my place... now push...omo I start to dey push ooo. Dey said am not doing anything, it continued oooh I kept pushing ooooo 8am baby never come out. I told them that I can't push any longer that I don't have strength that CS is my last option. They started petting me...sweetheart u can do this...I told them don't sweetheart me. Carry me to the theatre. C beating ooo comon do dis u can do it. I only heard first put prime don't know the meaning but I know that it's not good cos they started praying that baby was coming out in the wrong position that made my pushing so long. Around 9:11am my honeylicious bunny onyeocha pumpkin came out weighing 3.8kg with cut. She just brought out my placenta without further pushing. She brought the baby to my bossom. I felt it as if it was a magic I couldn't remember the pains anymore.

It was time for stitching omo I no know say I b choir mistress, doctor dey sow me I dey sing for him. Chaii d pain no b here ooo. At least am happy that am alive baby is alive my pain has gone. Except for the mild stitches which I know will heal faster. That same 3pm I was discharged cos am strong and good to go.

Una dey talk vigilante vigilante... now I know say vigilante is real...by his grace everything worketh out for good.

To all TTC...Receive miracles and bfps dis year, dis year shall not pass u by.

To all waddling mums...safe delivery to u all.
