All roads will lead to Benin City this Saturday, 12th March 2016 as the Ooni of Ife, H.I.M Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and the beautiful Wuraola Otiti Obanor will hold their traditional marriage. Ooni's wife-to-be bears the same name as his late mother Princess Margaret 'Wuraola' Ogunwusi. Many have been wondering if the charming first-class king ascended the throne without a wife. Let's tell you that the 41-year-old king was married to Bukola Bombata who stepped out with him during his coronation in December 2015. Then-Prince Adeyeye Ogunwusi at 31 years old, married Bukola {nee Bombata} in 2008. They had a traditional wedding, and holy solemnization in church.

We however gathered that before then, things were not going on smoothly on the homefront with the estranged couple. Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi has a child Adeola from a previous relationship. The well-loved king decided to seek his love in Wuraola soon after his first marriage to Bukola crashed due to irreconcilable differences. Before news of their separation was made public, Oba Ogunwusi shut down speculations about his marriage status when he started appearing at public events without Bukola.

The first-class king will however cease to be a bachelor from this Saturday. After his traditional wedding to Wuraola on Sunday, 13th March 2016, there will be a thanksgiving ceremony at the Royal Court of Ife, Aafin, Enuwa Square in Ile-Ife, Osun State by 12 noon. Dawn-To-Dusk News gathered that though the coming together of Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi and Wuraola Obanor is seen as a rather unexpected union, the lovebirds couldn't have been happier as they are head over heels with each other.

Taking a look back at their whirlwind romance and where it all began,a source told Dawn-To-Dusk News that the Ooni of Ife met Miss Wuraola Obanor in Lagos where he lived previously and owned a thriving real estate business Essential Homes headquartered in Lekki. It was in Lagos that the Ooni and Wuraola were said to have been introduced. The source further told Dawn-To-Dusk News that: "Ooni is very happy and they get along so well. They're having a great time together." The source further said, there are so many qualities that Ooni found in Wuraola: aside her beauty, she's respectful, gracious, cool-headed, and homely. Friends have since said they have never seen Ooni as happy as he is with Wuraola, and her joy is evident whenever they are together!

Rubbish! You Dump ur 1st wife who has been with u all these while for a notorious Edo 3 times divorcee lady.
Even if he wants to remarry, why these kind of woman with a questionable history of divorces.
The first wife will feel insulted by now.
Yet someone will jump out and be telling women to be submissive and some men will be treating women like rag..

Even the Ooni knows his roots and has wasted no time to identify with someone from his ancestral lineage.
I know the southwesterners will not like this union considering the recent controversy about who is superior between the Ooni and and Oba of Benin.
Well, the new Ooni just gave the Alake a back-hand slap by having an edo babe has his queen.

Happy married life

This does not add up, you call him a 41 year old king yet he got married in 2008 at the age of 31; this infers that he is/will be 39 years old this year.
This just confirms the rumour I heard last year that he was ascending the throne with a fictitious age so as to silence some opposition.

Ok oooo, love in Tokyo. Some people dey carry this matter for head like they are his abobaku . If the young man finds love in Wura, what's my own with it? Would you rather endure a loveless and soulless marriage at 41 for the rest of your life? We don't know what differences came between them but if they aren't compatible again, then why are we all playing the saint? Wura also divorced her husband in her quest for love and happiness , so wtf are we talking about?
Nigerians would always be hypocrites.
