‘It would be difficult for an Igbo to be Nigeria’s President’

ABA-National Chairman of the All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Oye, has called on Ndigbo to
embrace the party, stressing that APGA remains the oonly hope for the political emancipation of Ndigbo in Nigeria.

He reminded Ndigbo that they have been relegated to the background in the politics of Nigeria and called on the people to speak with one accord as well as take decisions which would improve the fortunes of the South East in the nation’s political equation.

Oye who stated this while addressing party faithful in Aba,said APGA offers the best political option for Ndigbo to
actualize her dream of producing a Nigerian President than other political parties.

He said, “Ndigbo should know that charity begins at home.If all Igbo people are APGA, how will anybody steal our
votes? We don’t vote in one direction, that why there is confusion. If all of us vote APGA, it will be difficult for anybody to rig elections in the South East. APGA is the party for Ndigbo. Unless we start from home and win the five South East states for APGA, we won’t make any progress.

Every Igbo man should know that Ndigbo are nowhere in Nigeria’s political equation. “Ndigbo should have produced the Senate President, but we failed to put our acts together and the position went to
the minority. Ndigbo should shine their eyes.

Unless Ndigbo wins the five South East state for APGA, it would be difficult for an Igbo to emerge Nigerian President. 2019 is
another election year. We must get things right.”

The National Chairman maintained that APGA has continued to wax stronger in all nooks and crannies of the country and vowed that the party would control the South East zone in 2019.

“We came to office in June 2015 and since then; APGA has spread to every nook and cranny of the country. In Bayelsa
state, we have two State House of Assembly seats. In Taraba, we have one Assembly seat and one House of
Representatives seat. In Anambra, we have 28 out of 30 seats.

In Abia state, it should have been 24 out of 24, but they stole it and left 11 for APGA. In Niger state, we have seven
elected councilors. In 2019, all

The reason we say keep your Nigeria, eat it, sleep on it, and loot it as you want as for us we are sick of that zoo.

By the way what has all the president of that zoo achieved before now apart from GEJ?

I ask again what has all the inept clueless president before GEJ achieved??

GEJ was even the worst.........u forgot that all the little effort he made was building on somebody's initiative like revitalizing of already constructed rail way system, renovation and maintenance of roads etc

I don't think they need it.
It is the exclusive preserve of ex-coupists and blood- thirsty mad men who are supposed to be locked up in a psychiatric hospital in any western nation.
Which is also why the biafran agitation is understandable. Allowing nitwits and paedophiles to decide your future is a terrible thing.

I may be politically naive but lets say If Buhari and Osibanjo tenure ends in 2023, in terms of Fairness, I think South East should get the APC presidential flag in 2023..

Here's one of the problem we are facing as a country on a serious note if ibo's will not only benefit hope of producing president in nigeria one day, then no need to waste their time even if nigeria will not be able to trust them by giving them power the whole thing will not make sense at all because it will one day turn around that the case between ibos and nigeria will turn to case that nigeria being the oppressor! and it will not turn out well at all by the time whole world will be calling for nigeria head!!!

Just seeing what Jonathan went through even though he is not Igbo, then imagine what an Igbo president will go through. In fact this time the north will open borders and invite Isis to come in.

This is assuming that he makes it to presidency somehow by chance.

But I don't care about the presidency. What has being president done for any region? Look at the north today.

this man is misleading his followers. trust me when i say it will be easy for an igbo native to become Nigeria president only if they change their mindset, orientation and attitudes toward other regions, and the unity and progress of this country. untill then

And do what?
Is he going to be allowed to restructure the country on the part of fiscal federalism and give the nation a fighting chance? We all know the answer to the question.
That country is hopeless, and an igbo presidency would serve as nothing but calculated blackmail on igbo people by the born to rule folks..

APGA remains a small party compares to a merger party. APGA should merge with pdp or apc so that we can have just two powerful parties in nigeria.

APGA party, pls merge with others cos that s only political options to survives at the atmospheric conditions of other political parties. It s well with you.

Your moniker should go like this...abokiprince because ur reasoning is at par with them.

We have made it unequivocally clear, we want out of this accursed and unGodly union. We don't want to share a country with pedophilias anymore. Our underage girls are now endangered specie simply because we are cohabiting thesame danm country with Muslims. We want a nation we can call our own, where our young daughters will not be subjected to harassment and abduction by the emirs and their subject, for se.x and early marriage.

The problem of Igbo is clannishness which is worse than the tribalism they depict at national level. Rochas Okorocha is the wisest, most prominent and most nationally accepted among the Igbo political elite but is being fought by a combination of Igbos(not Yorubas, not minorities, not Northerners) to make sure he doesn't near the Presidency. You can verify this Igbo problem with Senate Presidency during OBJ era where within 5 years all Southeast States produced a Senate President.

Biafra is not an option as it is only people who failed to see beyond the Utopian hypothesis that have fallen prey to the hope of el dorado.
