Hello house,

Pls need your expert and urgent advice. I currently work and live in Ghana and Im expecting my work permit to be out say next week. I intend to travel to Canada with my hubby and children mid-year, however they do not have a work/residence permit here in Ghana yet. My question is can we submit our application together in Ghana? My children already school here. I do not have the luxury of time to fly them all back to Nigeria for this purpose and I also prefer that my husband applies with us here. Pls advice if the Ghanian consular/VFS would accept our application. Thanks!

I'm actually trying to get admission first. Just need to know more about fee payment schedules and all. Cos I'm funding it partly with money saved up. And I don't know how easy it will be to get a job there while working to support myself.

NOTICE!
IF you have been following this tread you will see many TRV gotten within TWO months but you have to note that the Fall semester which is always September is always the first, most populated and best for all new intake., so there will be alot of fall applicant processing Their TRV by now,
--There will be slightly longer time for visa processing due to magnitude of the TRV in embassy
--So try to be patient and dont expect regular durations
--Also because there are alot TRV to handle, the embassy will tends to eliminate any that is not composed enough which they would have approved on regular basis, So try to improve your tragedy and the composition of your application

Thanks for your insight.

I hope you really dont mean that, I should assume that is try and improve your strategy!

I am for Summer Semester tho, reason for the worry!

Hello everyone,
Cc: hayqinsbFX, bjstarpex, justwise, Bandeco

My school is about to forward an acceptance letter to me  and they're urging that after I get it,  I will need to pay a tuition deposit of $2,500 to confirm my seat.

The issue is the mode of payment. Credit card won't cut it for me. They recommended Western Union GlobalPay solution which they support. Has any one used this before? Are there any other modes to pay the deposit?

Thanks

--Buiding account is not an option due to time only if you want to deffer your admission
--Study permit is not meant for rich family only so even though you sponsor is having a different family name it can still be approved ###3 of my famale friends get theirs last years with different sponsors family name but the sponsor have to note in his affidavit of support that he has a good relationship with you like you dad half brother of your mons brother (your last name can't be same with those)
Yeah you are right... That is why I stated that he has no much time left to build account now to submit since his program starts in September. Except he defers his program to winter ..
Your second point too is valid and I also stated he will have a hard job to do to convince the vo that the person will make the funds available for him.. It's hard but possible. Another point is that the said non-relative has a company account. We all know submitting company account is kinda risky especially when the person is not the sole signatory to the account. The Vo. s hardly believe that someone can commit such huge funds to fund a non-relative education from a company's account. To them it doesn't make sense that someone will impede the operation of a business just to fund a persons in Canada. More so, when the applicant is not a staff of the company and the applicant training in Canada won't be a long-term benefit to the company .. A friend of mine used a company's account two years ago and she was denied base on the reason I stated above. She reapplied with the persons personal account and her application was granted.

Can she document the source of funds?? Soa is not enough if it is accompanied by the source of the income eg employment letter, pay slip, employer's reference letter etc OR business registration documents and turn over.. These are important because the vo need to be sure that the sponsor has a steady flow of income even after sponsoring you, he/she will still get along with other financial obligations

yes. She has a company registered in her name..do u mean 3million is not sufficient fund to show the VO that she is capable to sponsor me after paying my tuition fees...
