Ok, I want to rant!!!! Maybe I will feel beta after narrating my story here.............

See me and one matured lady in the office today o (she's in her 40's and not married). She walks up to me and says " Ah, you are getting fat o" and I responded 'Really". She goes again to ask, come tell me o, are you pregnant cos I know you have a small baby". I went on to say "Yes na, am I living with my brother..lol" Mind you, my baby is 11 months. she then said hmmmmm, it's not good for your job o, do this thing with wisdom...like wat d f..k is dat! that it's not nice to go on maternity leave 2 consecutive years.....shebi all my bosses had there own phases like this and today, their children are grown. so because of work, i should not have my babies again! That my bosses might not tell me, but the work will suffer! Really!!! Dis particular lady hardly goes on leave or anytin yet she has been on the same level for 10 years and I've met her there!

The other day again, i went for a gathering and anoda matured unmarried lady in her late 40's said to me that I should carry a mat around so that my son would stop playing on the floor! everybody there just burst into laughter...mat ke!, for a mobile baby..........

I'm tired of all dese crap from older folks, God should just bless them so that they can channel their energy elsewhere........

They both meant well. The first politely advice which ofcz u don't have to follow and the second knows little about babies hence the statement.

They didn't pray to be d single nd unwed. The way u kept hammering on older ladies nd unmarried.....you are young, married with kids, you should be emphatic atleast.

is it your hormones that has made u point out the fact that she has not been promoted for 10 yrs? same hormones makes older ple seem crappy abi? lol. Dis ur hormone went too far mbok

I don't agree o. I ll say eat healthy like any preggy woman. If u re nt on d big side, ur baby may not b dat big. Besides its even better, if they come out small(within d normal limit) and start growing big outside belle. Don't start bothering urself on wot to eat to mk baby fat.

Most ladies these days minimize child spacing age because of career and age;the earlier u hang boot the better. As for the first comment,try and find out if your company have any policy on frequent maternity leave. I pray God bless those ladies and u go see how she will drop 2 in 18 months.

Sorry teamie. Are you having any other symptoms apart from the no appetite? ? This second trimester usually comes with increased appetite. I think you should keep disturbing your Doctor about it. But if he doesn't seem to be responding, you can consult another Doctor.

After delivery, come back and read Wat you wrote. except you didn't narrate it fully, if Wat you wrote here was exactly Wat was said, then I don't see why you should get angry....

You are definitely lucky. I have been so sick and been lying down for days. Feel slightly nauseous, stomach cramps, headaches and pee like there's no tomorrow

@Godmother it is well wit u. Its a matter of time u wil be fine. I also urinate bcaus I take water a lot bcaus of cramps. Another tin I experience is sharp pain or pressure in my vjay.

Same way I was told my bump is small for twin by the same dr who said it was big about two months ago.

Have started taking more of carbs to fatten up. I think I should just chill right?

Am about 30weeks too.

I think it's better to have them even smaller n they get bigger after birth.

In my corner where I sit in the office we are all married and about six of us. Ironically, each women has gone on mat leave and it comes in turns. As one is going another is getting pregnant. Hmm, do you know when I see them taking turns I begin to use them as point of contact for God to remember me. I and one other lady who is married are the only two married and no child.

Surprisingly I took in as one was about going on mat leave. Before this one am following went on leave, she and the other lady yet to have kids fight almost on daily basis. I had to talk to the pregnant lady to atleast tolerate her because she will see her actions as rubbing her pregnancy on her face.

When I took in, I became very tolerant of her excesses and she too seeing I allow her do and talk whatever she like became so friendly and caring to me.

If you are of a better advantage than others, be very tolerant with them as any little action or inaction from you might be taken otherwise.

Congrats on ur bfp, i ttc for 4yrs as well we ll all carry to term ijn. According to wat I heard, it aids implantation so it's nt advisable in d early stage of pregnancy, though some ppl eat it and it doesn't affect them. I av been craving for it since bt I had to deprive myself coz it's gud to be on a safe side.

Please mama's, let baby b small inside,come out small n add weight outside. That's wat alagbos do. Give u herb to make baby extra strong and active that way d weight won't be crazy
After birth baby can add.
The main advantage is labour, baby would come out easily with no tear.
And still add weight on ground. In 1 month u will b surprised.
So just eat to be healthy and not fat.

Think of sugar too.

My mum said she fed on fruits, vegetables and fura de nunu - was born in d north- and her birth stories are amazing.
As in if I share them, it will seem so easy to be real. - I think I would one day.
Inheritance and diet helped.

Anything to cause any contraction is a no no.
Even if we dont know how u will react to it.
And u are still in d very early stage.

@Iomoge, thank you so much. Just that fruits and veggies purge me a lot and it comes with tommy ache. Only God has kept me and the babies in my womb. The pain I go through is really bad. Wasn't just happy when dr is telling me different things on different times. I have prayed it off since yesterday sha.

@ All, I watch birth videos now a lot via youtube. I think I will encourage us to do the same. Looks so easy and removes fear. You will just tell yourself if they can I can too. I even watch one birth of a breech baby, slow and easy.

I pray God will build us to that point we will believe we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

That's it. Smile and thank her while walking away. Same way I would smile when the one in my corner hurt me badly. I usually tell her na four at ones God go use break her gra gra, and she will say amen.
