I'm very sure that her 14 years old son can't put this together. This is one of the means device by her sycophants.

5years in prison is just 2 years 6months in real life, and is far better than death sentenced.

If you're drunk don't drive.... Simple

jailing her will do nothing for the dead, let by gones be by gones. it was an unfortunate accident, they shouldnt be harsh in jailing her. living with a conscience that she unintentionally killed someone and having the memory every single day is far worse than any jail sentence. let the woman be pardoned.

Hello handsome, Nigerians are nice people, if they had seen any iota of remorse in her, the charges would have being dropped by the deceased family.

I pray that the right sentence be metted out as prescribed by the constitution.

Wasn't your mum pictured few days ago at a gala all festive like?

Someone that should have been laying low in sadness for killing someone in a drunken stupor.

A beg shift angry

So touching, really if she were my relative, I woundn't want her to go to jail. Nigerian police cells are horrible, how much more of spending 5 solid years in a Nigerian prison. It is only God dat has d final say on this matter. Prison is not a place to be.

Am sure if it was an ordinary nigerian the person would have been in jail long ago she should be grateful that she was not given life

She should have kept a low profile but she didn't. She didn't. Even going as far as presiding over AGN.

And just last week at the AMVCA after-party, she looked smashed. Later now she'll say she wasn't drunk.

I'm not feeling any sympathy for her. Don't know why. undecided

LEXYCOM:
Don't worry, by God's grace the supreme court will rule in her favour

Preposterous!!! Putting God's grace along side with Crime. DUI is a criminal offence in any sane country; not to talk of a DUI which precipitated a manslaughter. On the average, a mere manslaughter fetches you a 9 years sentence.

Away from the talk on the appropriate punitive measure for that unrepentant drunk; put yourself in the same shoe with the victims, would you be calling for the same God's grace if the late Dr was to be your son? Bear in mind that just last week, entertainment media was awash with pictures of a drunk Ibinabo.

You are sick. Pray for a murderer. What about the family man your mother killed. I am getting pissed over this woman and her families and supporters thinking she shouldn't be sent to jail for her action.

Honestly I don't understand why dey r dragging dis case.. It's really unfortunate that d doctor died, i can imagine d pain his death must av brought to his family but at d same time, it wasn't intentional, it was an accident I mean it was an accident for God's sake in which she was also involved, her Car was even a write off as we heard, she didn't set out dat day with d intention of killing.. But because she's a celebrity, dey kept on dragging & dragging d case ..
If I may ask how many people av dey jailed since wen dangote trailers have been killing Innocent Nigerians?? I believe dis case can settled out of court..

Na so. Because you can still see ya mama physically so you have mouth to talk nonsense. The person that died, do you know if his kids can even afford to go to school? Do you know the negative impact of what your mother has done in their lives. This stupid letter is so insensitive. Ibinabo was drunk. We all know the story very well. Her decision to drink cost the life of another. As a big girl, she should face the sentence quietly.

Up till this second, for me, I still don't know where to stand on this matter.

It was an accident, someone got killed...

She looks remorseful and sorry for what she did, even though I personally am not a fan of her 'wild' lifestyle.

Death is a very serious matter, and for that initial court judge to grant her N100k and let her go, was very unfortunate.. Makes you wish it was the judge himself or his family member that was directly involved in the case. angry

As for Ibinabo, I dunno what to say... Let justice prevail at the Supreme Court at the end of the day anyways. She's even lucky they're giving her only 5 years... Like I said, death is no child's play, and it overrides whatever pleas this young man (her son) is trying to make to Nigerians.

All the best to all parties.

I'm out
