I'd rather pray for her to be jailed or pray for the family of the deceased.... She was megalomaniac during the last tenure;karma in collabo with nemesis Is dealing with your mum.

Could remember her first film:" The camouflage",1998

jailing her will do nothing for the dead, let by gones be by gones. it was an unfortunate accident, they shouldnt be harsh in jailing her. living with a conscience that she unintentionally killed someone and having the memory every single day is far worse than any jail sentence. let the woman be pardoned.

Maybe when someone kills your loved one U will say bygones be bygones

No she did not take responsibility, she actually ran away from the scence of the crime after taking the particulars of the car so it wouldn't be traced back to her friend who's car she was driving. Unfortunately for her I think there were witnesses who had seen her plus they were able to trace the license plate if the car back to her friend Daneil Wilson who confirmed that Ibinsbo was driving . Jailing murders or rapists does not Bring back the dead or up rape the victim but it serves as a deterrent to other potential drunk drivers. It is not an accident when one knowingly chooses to do something that endangers the life of others.

That man's family will be wishing he could come back even after 5 years . So we will pray for your Mom and family, May God keep you all till she comes back and may God keep her also in prison. We will also pray for the widow and children of the deceased , May they finally find closure now that the case is concluded.

The law favors the reach.....5yrs jail isn't bad but I wish the common Nigerian can enjoy such. Anyway fyn boy be calm for 5yrs alive in prison is far better than death. Secondly it is a disciplinary action .keep others aside.

Embattled Nigerian Actors Guild president,Ibinabo Fiberisima's son, Sean has written an open letter to Nigerians, begging them to pray for his mother ..This comes after the court of Appeal upheld her 5 year jail sentence leaving her with just one chance to appeal at the Supreme court .Sean a footballer wrote...

People of Nigeria,

This is Sean, first and proud son of Ibinabo Fiberesima, I write on here today to plead with all Nigerians to pray for my mother. She is going through the toughest of times right now, and so are we, her family. I've been reading heartbreaking comments on her matter that 'she thinks she's above the law', 'she doesn't feel sorry for the family of the deceased', 'she was drunk and deserves this punishment', let me get a few things straight with you now.My mother is the most humble woman I know, I was not aware she was a celebrity until I was about 14 and that's only because my uncle told me, she does not see herself or act as if she is above any other person.

She is a proud Nigerian who loves her country and its people.Secondly, she has been carrying heartbreak around with her for the past 11 years after the accident. She understands the pain for the deceased family and is very hurt about what happened herself. She has tried her utter most to console with the Family, so don't ever think she does not care.Thirdly she was not drunk, the charges are reckless and dangerous driving, first of all I refuse to believe my mother was driving recklessly or dangerous, as I've been in a car with her countless times and nothing has happened. On this occasion it was unfortunate, she was unlucky, her car flipped over which happens to a number of cars and another car smashed into her. She was in a comma for days, she could have easily lost her life, but thankfully, by Gods strength only she survived. She did not set out that day trying to kill someone or herself.

Right now my mother is broken, and needs the prayer and support of all Nigerians, so please put all your conspiracies about this matter aside, I know it's between her and God now.

Join us, myself, Craig her son who is 14, Malcolm and Brian her other sons and her beautiful Daughter Zino who is just 8, and the rest of her family, to pray for my Mother. Let God decide what is just and what is not.

Whatever your religion, join us and Pray for my mother as well as the family of the deceased. We can all get through this but not without God.

Thank you for reading, may God bless you all.

So we should leave the matter of Nigeria that is far bigger than your mothers case and be praying for her abi. very good.
Your mum was busy fighting for AGN president post on top of that she threw a lavish wedding ceremony and you say she was feeling pain.

Well I'm not the police officer that investigated the incident so I don't know if she was driven under the influence or not or if she skidded off the road in error.
Whatever happens, Gods Will surely will prevail. The man that was killed in that accident was a professional doctor an asset to Nigeria and has family.

Your mother should have settled this matter out of court but maybe she wanted to use the power that be to settle the matter but it didn't work if I where you though I can't be you,try and reach out to the family of the deceased that will be her saving grace.come to think of it 11yrs is enough to heal any wound why did u mum waste 11yrs pursuing a case she couldn't have won.

This boy is a stupid boy. Coming on social media for sympathy. The most annoying part of his letter is "telling us to put our conspiracy one side". Your mama will go to that prison and learn. You have a case in the court, she was gallivanting during last administration, fighting for presidency of actors guild and went to AMVCA posing for pics, she never remembered that she has a man slaughter case in court. Had it been your mother visited the deceased family. Visiting them frequently, compensate them with money or give the children of the deceased scholarship the case wouldn't have got to this level. But she believes she is above the law because she is a celebrity.

She should have a nice time in prison.

Honestly I don't understand why dey r dragging dis case.. It's really unfortunate that d doctor died, i can imagine d pain his death must av brought to his family but at d same time, it wasn't intentional, it was an accident I mean it was an accident for God's sake in which she was also involved, her Car was even a write off as we heard, she didn't set out dat day with d intention of killing.. But because she's a celebrity, dey kept on dragging & dragging d case ..
If I may ask how many people av dey jailed since wen dangote trailers have been killing Innocent Nigerians?? I believe dis case can settled out of court..

The reason this case is being prolonged is because she's a celebrity.
And it's the same reason she is getting five years.

Lots of ordinary Nigerians are already die in jail for lesser traffic offenses.

cool Isn't it the same woman that was getting drunk and acting the fool at some movie award show about a week ago? How can you have a court case were your drunk driving lead to the deaths of innocent people and you are still going around getting drunk and making a fool of yourself. Let the beyatch rot in jail.

She tried to settle them 100k...100k!!!

Even when the case was re-opened and her 100k was returned to her, she tried again to appeal the jail sentence and have it swapped with the original 100k fine....100k!!!

Nna i don't feel sorry for her, let's see how her 100k will help her in jail.

See Nigerian mentality. What do you mean by "settled"? When the state is prosecuting a case there is no settling. This is not a civil case.
