I just read in Brian Tracy’s book ‘Create Your Own Future’ that ‘life is not a rehearsal for another thing’. So, we all must take it serious, make as much money as possible, laugh very well when we can and go on as many expensive vacations as possible. But wait a minute, how do I go on an expensive vacation without a lot of money that working for even Globacom cannot fetch me? Or do you think I am talking about the expensive vacations in Ghana and Mauritius? No, I am talking about vacations in the Island of Aruba on luxury yachts and crazily expensive hotels…..I mean the really expensive hotels…the kinds that only the Dangotes, Otedolas and Tinubus of this country can afford. Where do you come about that kind of money and not get hanged? So I thought of a sure means…. You see, Tinubu bled Lagos State dry, became the biggest ‘landlord’ in the whole of Lagos and invested in almost every sector of the economy, from mass communication to hospitality etc. Must I also remind you that Tinubu is the biggest political investor in the country? He sponsors your election to become Governor and he bleeds your State dead….If you doubt me, please look into the rise and fall of Aregbesola of Osun State and you will see. Wonderfully and quite abysmally, Tinubu is to so many Nigerians, the hero of modern day democracy! SO, WHAT IF I STEAL SO MUCH MONEY LIKE HIM? My wife gets to become Senator, my daughter gets to become Iyaloja-General and all my god-sons get to become Governor…..and then I become a hero of our democracy…! SUPERB! Okay, Tinubu is not my only source of motivation. You see, Aregbesola (Tinubu’s godson) motivates me so much. This dude went to Osun State, robbed the State blind and landed that poor State in crazy debt. Abysmally again, our own Alaafin of Oyo just conferred on him the title of ‘Omoluabi of Yorubaland’, even when he is not paying his workers and he is not even being remorseful about it. SO, WHAT IF I BECOME GOVERNOR OF MY STATE, ROB THEM DRY LIKE AREGBESOLA? Do I get to become the Omoluabi of Yorubaland too? Have you also seen the pictures of people praising him to high heavens? That means I even get to become the hero of people? Then I also become so rich that I can afford to spend 365 days on the island of Aruba….SO WONDERFUL! And what about Ali Modu Sheriff? Dino Melaye? Bukola Saraki? Theodore Orji? My list of mentors are long when it comes to stealing from the National purse….so what if I decide to be like them? Will this generation worship me like they worship them? Or will this generation use their heads for once and condemn me? Or will even our shameless Royal Fathers confer me with all manner of titles like we presently have? Will I become the Aare Ona Kakanfo of Yorubaland to rival with the Jagaban? WHAT IF I STEAL AS MUCH GOVERNMENT MONEY AS POSSIBLE? Will anybody have the right to blame me when they have worshiped those who have stolen before me? JUST WHAT IF? Well, if you want to steal and enjoy your loot, you must ensure two things. 1. I hope you are Fulani 2. I hope you have registered as APC member. |

OreMI22:Well....I will definitely have to join the reigning party na. At least if I have to spend all my days in the island of Aruba, I want to be sure Baba Buhari is not sending his Department of Specialized Slaves after my family members... |
