We are gradually getting to a point where I will be forced to conclude PDP equals APC and APC equals PDP. They are all about selfish personal interests. I pray I don't get to that point!!! |

As much as i would have been contented with the fact they are Nigerians, I am not happy that it was done through the backdoor. That makes it so unfair to the voiceless. Some serious nations are already looking for another way to test / conduct examination for their literate / employable citizens instead of the conventional method. This is just because they realize that intelligence with book is not same with reasoning which I believe is just a way of making sure they have the best hands on deck and to make opportunity go round for all. Unfortunately, Nigeria still engage in nepotism and favoritism. I am also convinced that this is another reason why some companies will never desist from using people as slave by employing them as casual staff fro as long as they wanted. God help us! nevertheless, pressure groups, unions, activists, etc should rise and defend the masses of this country from this heinous acts from both government and private enterprises |

vantage7:According to the Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS 4) summary report that was recently released, the North West and North East zones of Nigeria have very low literacy rates of 32 and 37 percents respectively as against higher rate of at least 89 percent in each of zones in the South. SLIDEwaxie:You are spewing crap. Did you read the part that says CBN capitalized on the tragedy of immigration recruitment to perpetrate their own evil agenda by telling FCC that they didn't want to advertise, and you are claiming that they have their own laws. If CBN has its own laws on recruitment as you claim, then why making a request to FCC for public advertisement of vacancies? What you didn't understand was that if every MDA and others should decide to hide under immigration recruitment incident, none of your family members will ever get government job even if they wish to work under government. I said that because you never asked about the method they used to employ those that were employed secretly and who they are. |

How the Federal Character Commission works Employ 200 from one region and only 12 from another region. Take the nominal roll (staff list) to FCC. They shout and shout and ask u to employ 3 of their sons. Once that is done, u get ur certificate of compliance. This way some regions will continu to be marginalized. Shame on FCC |

This bogus recruitment process is a litmus test that we are presently operating man know man government in Nigeria. In ability to formulate modern policies that can tame our dwindling economy crisis is traced to unqualified CBN employees that have extensively employed via back door and power pushed over years back. We can now see how the menace have caused hardship to sons and sundry. Above all, sensitive sectors should be absorbed by brains and technocrats if this deceit govt really want to make a difference. The recent appointment of NIMASA DG is total unacceptable and act of miscarriage in governance. There are lot of Marine Engineers and mariners who are in politics that any smart govt can used to turn around this bleeding sector, if I may ask what an extent experience in Maritime does Dakuku has to formulate policies that can transform shipping, oil and gas, training and development, employment, ships owners and Oil coys. The old people and obsolete ideas, they have destroyed Nigeria since 1930! |

piagetskinner:He has no point whatsoever. The recruitment process wasn't fair, it gave undue advantage to the children of politicians and highly placed people. Many of them may not even be able to scale through first round of interview. And if it continues like this, how will the children of the poor break out of vicious cycle of poverty when the corrupt system doesn't give them chance to get a well paying job, how will the nation progress? Because whenever you hear secret recruitments, believe me, I know the type of people that usually formed majority on such list. |

Before crying nepotism or tribalism in favour of the south, they should be a total review of all government parastatals, departments and agencies, to ascertain which tribe or region has the highest personnel. We should also not sacrifice competency on the alter of tribalism. |

I can authoritatively tell you people were still being secretly recruited in cbn and other agencies since January this year. No be today. It's just that when they find out they usually sack all of them |

maasoap:I meant I agreed with the last part of his statement...even job openings that are advertised, are mostly occupied by people who have long legs, who may not even necessarily be qualified. That's Nigeria for u man... There would always be a wide gap between the rich and the poor. There's nothing that can be done about it, because the rich(elite group) hold positions to key sectors of the economy.. The poor have no say, the best they can do is riot, and sadly, and kill themselves.. Not the rich. That's what u get in a capitalist society. But if u were among those appointed will u say anything?... No b to clean mouth.. Nigerians generally are selfish |

kogirodent:It is not because of what you wrote, I honestly see that you are not able to think right. Those who did that thing in CBN are wrong and corrupt. There are written rules to follow when employing workers in government's offices in Nigeria, but they didn't follow that at all. And if they did that then it is because they are corrupt and very corrupt. So the problem of Nigeria is corruption which includes injustice, no truth, no mercy, and no righteousness. For example you yourself didn't say the truth here or is it that you do not know the truth. How? Someone or some people broke the writing rules that is to guide us and the government officials and the leaders in offices and you do not condemn the evil they did and call for punishment against such people but you said the reason why the people broke those laws is because Nigeria supposed to be broken into many nations. Is it because nigeria is not broken into smaller nations that made them to become corrupt and breakers of laws of Nigeria? And if a person is good in his tribe, then he will also be good in the nation or nationally. This means that you and people like you don't know the problem of the country but you are just talking may be because many people are saying that same thing you wrote, for many people liked it. This also means that you people are then your own problems and since you don't know neither the problem of Nigeria nor the solutions, then you want to remain in the same problem. Know this also that even if you have small countries, injustice, absence of truth, mercy and righteousness will still let there be no peace and development. Even in a family of seven people where they are wicked, do they still not steal, fight, lie, snatch boyfriend... So please be wise and reasonable and learn and understand what are the true problems of Nigeria and what are the true solutions to the problems, otherwise you yourselves will become problems of Nigeria. How? By protecting and supporting the people that are destroying this country and calling and supporting wrong solutions. And if God has made Nigeria one then who can divide her but if God divides her then who can keep her together. Let each of us first do our life well, then our home, our village... Thank you. |

| Re: CBN Secretly Hired 909 Staff Without Advert - Daily Trust (See Map) by kogirodent: 9:22pm On Mar 16, 2016 |
brojoshua:your point is well taken. First of all, you seem to think that any group of people can form a nation no mathher their differences, our point is, that is not true. Other countries where their differences have not made thins work have broken up eg the old India was divided into Pakistan, Bangladesh and India. This may not have solved their problems but honestly dey now know where their problem lies. Not all marriages work, simple. I am surprised that the only thing u saw in this topic is corruption. I see biases in the form of religion, language, party affiliation, etc. While breakin up may not solve our problems, it will help us to manage our problems better. And pls, dnt bring God into this marriage called Nigeria. Cant type all dats on my mind cos of my phone. Gdnyt |
