ionsman:I trust buhari, he doesn't take security issue with levity. We might have soldiers at polling booth, but on the streets. I don't think the high the jurisdiction to entertain this case. |

ionsman:The order as written above does not stop the military from deploying it's operatives in the election. Read it again. |

The order did not say they should not deploy.it said they should not harras, intimidate, torture etc etc the pdp members. |

And someone will said there is hope for this country. I spit on it. Look at stûpid future generations fighting over people who call the masses dumb, whose family are not in the country, who are not affected by increase in fuel or any goods, people who will shake hands later when they find a common ground of interest. All because of money that can be spent on one sitting?? This country is going no where. It's too late. I give up. |

Hmmm...how times have changed. Could remember vividly how the APC vehemently complained about the militarization of the elections in Ondo, Edo and Osun, I think, during the last dispensationg now the tables are turned. Objectively, the situation in Rivers is too volatile to be left to chance but it is up to authorities to guarantee fairness. A real litmus test. |

Now PDP knows what it mean to have power @ the central, I can vividly remember the last time they conduct osun state election that PDP happen to be the umpire then, I saw what nigeria has as a military personnel then. The question I kept on asking then was where do they keep this people that we are calling military personnel that can't fight boko haram? But they can deployed them for illegal activities like rigging the election, where were they (PDP) when election took place in Ekiti that brings in MVIP to pioneer the affair of Ekiti state? Mind you then in ekiti state killing is not as rampant as it is now in river state... I can't comment now until the election is over... Observation mode activated... Lest I forget I detest politics I can't even allow my pet to engage in it till I will be sure nigeria is safe... |

Aufbauh:Are you trying to insinuate or confirming that military is actually deployed to Rivers to rig? I was thinking they were there to maintain peace and order during the election. I remembered APC once said soldiers are not needed in civil elections during Ekiti, Edo and Osun election. Why doing the same things you condemned? |

All this online warriors fanning the embers of an inferno from miles away from Rivers state, you guys should take it easy. On a light note, APC will be seen as stupid if them don't sweep 2/3 of the positions in contention on Saturday... Supreme Court said so! |
| Re: Rivers Rerun: Court Restrains Military From Deploying Soldiers by monex(m): 6:15pm On Mar 17, 2016 |
ionsman:soldiers can be deployed in the city but the ruling is about soldiers in voting booths. Soldiers were not used for 2015 elections. APC got a court ruling to stop it. I pray they cancel the elections until the security situation gets better. |
