or i just assume an interval lets say the value of x is between d interval 2<x<3..do i use 2 or 2.1 as d initial value

Yes u xan use any number for a guess.

It will converge to d reall number after few iterations

or more generally,

Need an assistance on this : determine the roots of f(x)=x^3-10x^2+5=0 that lies in (0.6, 0.8 ) Using newton-ralphson. And using the reduction function to have the values of your x.

after some iterations i got this x=0.734603507789 i took 0.7 as d initial value

the method works for all 3 by 3 unique system,and not one linear,one quadratic, one cubic equation like u asked.

u that asked," would cramer's rule work in the one u showed me"?,

text my method by sending any 3 by 3 linear equations.

There is this objective questions am given to solve. I have solved so many of them except 2 which has to do with intergration. I'll be fine if u guys can welcome me with the solutions. The questions are as follows:

Options:
A tan^2x + 1
B cot^2x + 1
C sec^2x
D sec^2x

(2)Intergrate {xcosax^2 dx

A cos^3x + c
B sin2x + c
C sec^2x + 1
D1/2(asinax^2) + c

for this i assumed a to be a constant since we r integrating with respect to x
using integration by part
take u to be x and dv to be cosx"2 then solve

for 2 use algebraic substitution method, take u=ax^2.
1. Make tan^2x to be in sec form, then let u=the last tan.
I am in 100L also, what school?
