It means u dropped d wrong question bro.In ur question u said x,y,z are in AP and not log x,log y,log z.entirely different as its easy to use arithmetic mean method on log x,log y,log z to arrive at a geometric mean of y^2 = xz and not d other way.so d question initially dropped is incorrect. Tanx

Will love you to snap and post, while waiting for that. To solve any of the questions, take any variables/numbers without square root to the other side, from there, square both sides to eliminate the square root.

Square both sides. Rearrange and square again. Then solve resulting quadratic equations.

It can be concluded that the closed formula for the recursive function is

C(n) = 2 + 0.5(n-1) for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

C(n) = 2 + 0.5(101-1) for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

C(n) = 2 + 0.5(100) for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

C(n) = 2 + 50 for n >= 1 where n is an integer.

Thus C(101) = 52



So f(101) = 52

A proof by induction can easily show the correctness of this closed function but this is another question entirely.


OR
This is an arithmetic progression, with a = 2, d = 1/2

F(n) = a + (n - 1)d

Where, a = 2, d = 1/2 and n = 101

F(n) = 2 + 1/2 (n − 1)

F(101) = 2 + 1/2 (100)

F(101) = 2 + 50

F(101) = 52
