Help!!! Solution To Constant Paint Peeling From My Ceiling Board. by olenyi: 9:52am On Mar 18, 2016
The above has been my problem for some time now.

I first noticed it some years back. After painting my ceiling with white emulsion paint, everything will be ok. Then after a while, the paint will start peeling and falling to the floor.

Please house, is their a solution to this kind of issue. And has anyone experienced this and how did you go about resolving it.

Its an asbestos ceiling board.

Regards.

Fake paint you used. The paint you used lacks adequate ammonium in it.

Thanks for your response. But the paint i used (and i have tried different brands), are the common ones you get in the market.

Also i have observed that people that used lesser quality brands don't experience the peeling stuff.

Any suggestions pls.

Scrape the surface first, then use emery cloth( sand paper) on it.
Then, Mix the paint with an adhesive like Top Bond or anything similar. It works fine.
Except if uve got a licking roof

OP before repainting. Try removing all the flaking or chalking paint from the Ceiling completely... and also avoid low quality paint.

It's caused by;
* Humidity : if you use AC constant nd probably ur neighbor above uses his frequently, you will find it peeling..

* Much Sex: if u produce too much quaffy energy i.e you fork too much in ur apartment, the energy released mostly moves from the lower concentration(walls) to a higher concentration(Ur ceiling) which reacts after a long while..

Sir peeling of paints is as a result of incompactibility,dusty ceiling , lack of undercoat on the surface of the ceiling or lack of surface dressing.
