I'm from Osun state , Aregbe turned a stark village full of stark illiterates into an emerging City with bright kids and that is a great seed to plant.
It takes someone who is brave and has a tough skin to try what he did because there will be shortage of funds and backlash guaranteed.
Although the city will only shine bright when you leave as we need time to recover but we will not forget you and may almighty God answer these haters for you everywhere you go.
Osogbo is now a City and no longer a stark village.

I always say things the way its! not that PMB is an angel but GEJ was too bad beside its too early to judge PMB now we have to beg Saraki to approve the budget then see if that is going to make the difference by december

Why beg saraki? Na saraki fault say FG no do their job well for the whole budget palaver.
If FG had been serious with the budget, they wouldn't have allowed it to get messy, by now, senate for don pass am. So, just commot saraki for this PMB mess.

Why una de always look for who to blame?

We are not broke, Osun is, ask your gufnor Aregbe to account for your money, till our state is broke ( at least not in this generation), then will ask our governor to show us pixes, but for now, we do not need picture proofs, after all we are not broke, Osun is.

Don't listen to him.

Okorocha is owing my company millions for contract completed since 2013.

The debt incurred to augment budget from the past four years is astronomical.

Okorocha proposes N195.74bn budget for 2013 - Premium Times ... 4 Dec 2012 ... Published: December 4,2012 ...

The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, on Monday ... that N81 billion would be sourced from internal loans and N13.86 billion from direct funding making it N94.86 borrowed for 2013 alone.

When you sum the total debt used to fund Imo State budgets under Gov. Okorocha, you will collapse under pity for lack of fiscal discipline.
Honestly i don't know what to believe again, majority (90%) of people i have spoken with are of the opinion that Rochas is a failure

Your sampling might be statistically biased but Okorocha kept too mute when media campaign of calumny against him raged on. I still ponder why he believes he does not need to use the media to showcase the truth as that has greatly affected his popularity.

Most visitors to Imo State usually wonder why the reports they get on media sharply contradict what they see and all sorts of reasons are given like owing civil servants, being gay, being a Fulani, Islamising the State, legalising abortion, human organ trafficking, killing of IPOB and being against Igbo interest.

A careful analysis of all these points will give impression of a search for reason to nail the man. Most of them are just rumours sold as news using illegal radio Biafra, some Owerri based tabloids and Vanguard newspaper.

Aregbesola Commissions Ashimolowo Kings’ University, Holds First Matriculation Ceremony

Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State has commissioned Kings’ University, located in Odeomu, Osun State.

The Governor described Kings’ University as the ninth university in the state, stressing that “it would be the first private university that would be in its permanent site long before being licensed by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

According to him, “the location of the university would positively affect the socio-economic and political growth of its host community. University is meant to advance the frontiers of the world.” He also urged the students to be ready to acquire knowledge in academics and character.

He stressed that the coming of private universities gave hope for those who could not afford to send their children to universities abroad, advising that Kings University should be able to provide moral instructions to their students by ministering to their souls.

While speaking, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo who is also the proprietor and Chancellor of Kings’ University attributed the need to raise a generation of entrepreneurs and provide space for thousands of Nigerian students, seeking admission as reasons for establishing the institution.

Ashimolowo who noted that the university gulped about N2billion, said the institution was the first in Nigeria to offer a scholarship to about 150 students.

He said that the mission of the university was to produce people who can make a difference in the competitive world, by being employers of labour, instead of applying for non-existent jobs in the labour market.

“it is our mission to raise people who can make a positive difference in the world. We want to raise a generation of people, who think entrepreneurship, not a job seeker. We are committed to producing leaders with a strong mind, who can change the fortune of our nation,” he noted.

Speaking earlier, the Vice Chancellor of Kings’ University, Professor Oladiran Famurewa stated that “our goal is to be propelled by our core values of learning, forthrightness, moral upbringing and spiritual development in line with our mission to be the university recognised for educational excellence and academic success.

I'm not interested in your empty and shallow chest beating nonsense.

The fact that you toured your villages means you should be able to show us what your governors in the whole of SE commissioned since 1999.

For 1 SE commissioned project you showed us, I promise to reply with 2 projects for Osun state.

Put your money where your mouth is or keep quiet...

I went through the thread and thank God for those open eyes pix...
In my own view,Aregbesola did more projects than any governor in his class in recent time(I may be wrong) but he seemed to have chewed more than he could swallow.I went to Oshogbo last year in december with an elderly man and he was all over me with the praises of Aregbe when he showed me some ongoing projects.
With what I saw...I think the case of Aregbe would be Who Laughs Last Laughs Best..

I FEEL HIM AND UNDERSTAND WHY A LOT OF OSUNIANS STILL LOVE HIM IN SPITE OF THE FINANCIAL MESS..

Hmmmm....It is really No Pain No Gain.
