Am in lagos, went to delta state liason office bt they only stamp d attestation form no passport, no letter attestation n recomendation, no copy of international passport or drivers licence. I think its the Applicants recent Passport Photograph that is needed not that of the Signee because NAF is stating what you should bring for the Zonal Enlistment and your certificate is needed not that of the Signee so there is an assumption the Passport is that of the Applicants.

The best bet to be shortlisted for zonal enlistment aptitude test is to accurately adhere to all their application instructions... i think a computer had been programed to automatically and tactically select the candidates that adhered to the stated instructions i.e age, course of study, medical status, HEIGHT e.t.c

Before I proceed. I am sorry for replying you with a question. Are you an Applicant? If your answer is Yes then whose Passport is to be Stamped and Counter Signed. Is it yours or the individual attesting for you ?

From what I understand, apart from the passport photograph of your signee which he or she will attach to your Attestation form, you will give the signee 2 of your own recent passport photographs to sign and stamp.

Tomsy ask yourself this question, if I get another job (leave the schooling out) at the same time with NAF would I rather wake up everyday, calmly go to my office ,close at a particular time and have most things under my control or would I rather be running several kms,standing at the parade ground for hours, spending days in the bushes doing only God knows what? Without lying to yourself you know what you would prefer. You may not be a physical person but news Flash, its all in the mind. People who thought they weren't physical have gone in and done well. The training is rigours indeed but it all depends on how much you want it, a determine mind can achieve alot. I for one even as a female has zeroed my mind on whatever it is I find there I will take is as I see it coz it is what I want. You can go for your MSc later on but getting to the final list doesn't happen everyday and it's good you have options. I pray you still have time to choose by the time the Selection board list or final list is out. However it will be a setback to not go for your MSc and lose out on the final list as well, if you have to start the MSc before then, do that and see what NAF has to offer. When the time comes you will know what to do.

For the purpose of clarification, here's the exact statement on NAF website

Applicants will be required to submit for scrutiny, the original copies of the documents at the enlistment centers and during the final selection interview. Applicants will be required to present following documents if selected for the zonal enlistment test:
Two recent passport size photographs to be stamped and counter signed by officer of appropriate rank specified, Local Government Chairmen/Secretaries and other specified officers in Paragraph 8.
Photocopies of Educational Certificates.
Indigenship certificate from applicant’s State of Origin. [/size]

Paragraph 8 talks about the category of people that can sign the document, in order to avoid unnecessary repetition they refer us to paragraph 8'. From the above statement, based on my little understanding of oyibo, the two passport is that of the applicant and not the signee.
The signee will only attach a passport photograph and NOT 2 passports. Take a look at the instruction again

Applicant's attestation form must be signed by a military officer from the same state as the applicant and not below the rank of Squadron Leader or equivalent in the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Navy, and Police Officer of the rank of Assistant CP and above. Local Governments Chairmen/Secretaries, magistrates and principals of government Secondary Schools from applicants' state of origin can also sign the attestation forms. The signees passport photograph and either photocopy of drivers licence or international passport must be attached. In addition, applicants are to bring with them a letter of attestation of good character from any of the officers above to the Zonal Enlistment Centers and final selection interview. [/size]

There is nothing wrong with black and white, as long as the print is clear, however I advice people just go for the coloured because your passport photo is usually better with colour.
