Nigerians eyes are now open to see that Buhari is in government to enrich his Fulani and also spread sharia laws in Nigeria, he doesn't care about what happen to the economy or the masses.....

I believe Buhari must have met the leader of ISIS on one of his trips to the middle east and the only way to realize the Islamasation of Nigeria is by empowering the herdsmen to invade community and kill innocent people, then take over their lands.

Those fishing in water should also buy water territories.
Or rather they should fish within the limits of territories allowed them by our laws. Anything extra amounts to breaking of the law and they should be so dealt with.
The evil and corrupt act of QUOTA SYSTEM is already taking its toll in every facet of our national life and you wish to add NATIONAL GRAZING ROUTE to it. Your "change" should include equity and equality for all Nigerians before we can make progress.
The herdsmen should fund their livestock farming business and not going about criminally destroying other peoples hard grown agric businesses, while the president turns the other way.
TRESSPASS is still a crime, woman! cool

They should fish within their limit same way the herdmen will graze within the approved route.

That they are herdsmen does not make them any more or less a traffic offender.

Defined grazing route will solve this problem
We should be moving beyond such archaic methods. Route through which lands and areas? Ranching is the way to go! Cattle rearing is a business and part of agriculture. They are business men and must be compelled by law to purchase or lease lands in their own states or regions under whatever arrangement and then set up their business of rearing cattle and other animals.

Why should the government be involved in creating grazing routes which they will make use of free of charge? Do they generate revenue through the sales of their cattle for general consumption by Nigeria? Does the government provide free business infrastructure for others in various forms of business? When they are in a place the government can keep track of them especially for purposes of taxation. The only reason they should be seen outside their ranches would be transportation for sale ie if live cattle is needed.

I agree ranching is the way to go but it won't happen overnight, we are even yet to start mechanized crop farming.
Our farming methods are cultural and it will take year to rid that.

HATE? For what exactly? Don't even go there. Every Nigerian who has encountered these violent and callous herdsmen will genuinely wish not to again. And if thats what qualifies as "HATE" to you, then we need not continue this exchange.
Comparing fishermen and herdsmen is jejune in this context. The lands in Nigeria are owned by people while the waters are open to all. No government has had to secure any water body anywhere in Nigeria for any fisherman. All a fisherman need do is to ensure he doesnt constitute nuissance to other users of the water and he is free as air to fish.
Now the herdsmen has this option too. He can choose to meticulously guide his cattles through the bush paths, avoiding contact with recognizable farms and he wont have issues. But majority of them prefer to feed their cattle fat on people's lush green farms. This is the exact part that breeds your "HATRED".
Now do you know that those farms are people's means of livelyhood? And it gets criminally destroyed just like that? And the farmer most times loses his life if he dares to reacts? And instead of arresting and prosecuting this criminal tresspasser, vandal, murderer and what have you, all your innermost part could come up with is a NATIONAL GRAZING gini? As a pat on the back of the CRIMINAL? A kinda criminal reward?

For all i care, that "CRAZY GRAZING PATH" ain't passing anywhere in southern Nigeria.
Obiagelli, you can have it pass through your father's sitting room, no offeinse cheesy

We should at least be seeing policies in that direction especially considering the increased attacks and killings by these criminal elements posing as herdsmen but nothing of the sort is going on. Rather we hear Audu Ogbeh talking of importing grasses from Brazil to plant which is more scarce resources being frittered away. GMB and crew have been renting the air with tales of insufficient funds, low oil prices et al as impediments to good governance but this is one measure that costs practically nothing to implement. Where is Buhari's supposedly famous will to fight against 'corruption'? Can that will not be deployed to address this menace and provide necessary legislation to effect this? I daresay that funds expended on just three out of the almost 30 trips he has taken out of Nigeria in under one year would be enough to provide soft loans and incentives for cattle herders to get into the system. A definite deadline of say 12-18 months for implementation of sanctions against non-compliance will see a positive effect.

What then is the problem? His continued silence is what gives credence to beliefs that he is in support of the bloodshed perpetrated by his kith and kin albeit tacitly.

For mechanised farming, a more gradual process can be employed as well exploring options of investors with cash to spend. At least the cultural farming methods are not causing deaths and destruction unlike these nomadic criminals that go about destroying farms and raping and killing! It is a more urgent case and a proactive government should have seen this.

In a multi-cultural society like ours stipulated laws must be binding on all ,the law shouldn't be selective when a man from a certain tribe is involved.in fact if any body want's to get involved in agriculture he/she must acquire land for either farming or other agriculture related venture.why is the case of fulani herds men different? They should build ranch in their state, local government or buy land from their host state to build ranch on as the case may be .I sorry for NIGERIA.common sense is not common smiley

This has been going on as the norm since even before I was born. Instead of adults to brainstorm and come up with more workable suggestions about how to curb this embarrasment, instead we have adult babies wailing here and accusing Buhari all for nothing but for his effrontery to win their preferred candidate in an election a year ago.

Why not let your arguement dwell more on establishing Ranches up North like @freeze001 suggests. Isn't that more modern, manageable and taxable? Why mask age old, well known "Fulani Expansionist Agenda" with the cloak of "National Grazing Route".
From there they will start having Emirs on every town the grazing route passes.
Obiagelli, we will not fall for such fulani trojan trick. RANCHES are better. Push for it, unless you love chaos.

I have taken time to observe and it is clear to me that this person proposing government approved madness in the name of grazing routes is no more than a northern muslim and fanatic hiding under an Igbo moniker. We know their wicked expansionist plots and that is why regionalism is needed urgently because this federal power is clearly set up for abuse.

Like i've told @freeze001, i don't care what alias's one masks one's identity with here, as i only deal with tissues of their logic. I also don't care who thought up the warped, jaundiced and jejune idea of "national grazing route". I only wish to pass it accross to you that the larger south WILL NOT cede our lands to the hostile fulani invaders to start having Emirs here and there using this silly sounding "grazing paths" cunny sly tactics.
If they want our lands, at least we have to see smokes off the guns first! cool .
Any other person in Nigeria can have "grazing path" at my backyard but not the extremely violent merciless herdsmen thats already been ranked as the 4th deadliest in the whole wide world. Their murderous notoriety precedes them. Let them go do their bloodletting elsewhere.
Oby, for the last time, its Ranches for them or nothing!
