Saraki counsel is only trying to be clever by half. Tinubu was freed for other reason apart from not giving him the right to explain his false asset declaration by CCB, prior to being charged to court. One other reason Tinubu was freed is that the prosecution failed to link the foreign accounts to Tinubu. Some even bear female names. Any interested party can dig up that judgement.

This Mr Kanu Agabi has already won his case. 10 other former governors had their assets declaration clarified at the CCB and did not have to go to court . BUT in Saraki's case the AGF himself usurped the duty of the CCB. I've said this in another thread that this is a classical example of a politically motivated prosecution and persecution .
Our justice system is on trial here. Not Saraki.

Interesting. The decision of the CCT in Tinubu's case is a precedent, though not absolutely binding on the CCT. I just wonder why the Fed govt rushed to charge Saraki to court when they were aware of the decision in Tinubu's case.

I was hoping that now that Rotimi Jacobs is handling the govt's high profile criminal cases, there would be a change from the glaring incompetence and shoddy prosecution displayed by festus keyamo. Keyamo only wanted to play to the gallery.

Why not take time to build their case and tighten all loopholes before going to court? As much as I want Saraki to be brought to justice, he has the right to rely on Tinubu's case if the prosecution has made the same mistake upon which the charge against Tinubu was struck out.

After getting to supreme court still talking if jurisdiction. Tinubu case was a mistake now, supreme court is final.

After supreme court judgment of jurisdiction, this case pass Tinubu case now.

Saraki is a silent thief,just imagine where he is going now ,meaning dat he admit he steal kwara's money nw refering his case with tinubu case. Justice are not competent during that time. This is new life new system i.e new administration new policies

The same president of the CCT that gave d judgement for Tinubu is whom Saraki is before. Are u trying to impugn his character by calling him incompetent then? So where did he suddenly borrow competence from? Decisions of court are not based on personality or personal convictions of judges but on law please.

Since Tinubu was discharged in error, has the Federal Government appealed the wrong judgement in a higher court? CCB is actually turning out to be a huge joke.

Nope. He submitted it himself but the CCB should have first invited him to clarify any issues they found in the forms he submitted before going to court.
If he says he has a house in London, then invite him and ask him how he got the property. If you are not satisfied with his explanation, then charge him to court.

KANU Agabi's submission is that just charging him to court without allowing him to explain whatever they felt was wrong in his declaration form, robs the court of the necessary jurisdiction to hear the case.

indirectly Bukola accepts that he waas guity of the charges put against him .

2 can we say that Bukola used the weakness in that constitution or law that say "after declaration of asset the CCB must invite the person to comfirme if his asset declaration correct" to perfect his fraudness because he knows he can not be perscuted without invite him for correction

3 if Bukola is free at CCT because he was not invited to confirm his asset by CCB and Because Tinubu was free when committed thesame offence due to the reason that he was not invited as stipulated by law too. Can we say it is normal to make false asset declaration as a text for CCB if they discover and invited me i will amend but if they are not discover it and did not call me its my luck and infuture if they take me to court my lawyer will used Tinubu and Bukola as case study to free him as Bukola was doing now

4 person can mistakely omit one or two of his properties in asset declaration form but that does not mean he can not defend himself if he was invited to explained if the omited properties is belong to him.What can we say of the properties he has not acquire that he filled in the form? Was that a mistake too?

This Saraki is a Comedian.

He should go into the home video business after he gets kicked out of the Senate, and completes his jail time. There are many differences between you and Tinubu, but most importantly Tinubu is one of the reason's why we have democracy in Nigeria.

When Tinubu and the likes of Abraham Adesanya, were in the trenches fighting for Nigeria via the NADECO, where was this Mr Ibu?so the PDP lead Government cooked up charges, and tried to put Tinubu away. But, they also knew that touching a freedom fighter like Tinubu, would signify the West going their way.

So the honest man was left alone.

Saraki in your case, you have never worked in your life, and from your fathers living room you went into power where looting became your surname.Please Saraki, never in your life compare yourself to Tinubu.

You committed a crime, Tinubu was not there, so face your trial alone without calling names.
