women should pay 50% of wedding costs so that they can maintain their independence in the marriage union. |

Tallesty1:If you knew about feminism you wouldn't call her a feminist. A feminist will never choose to sit at home and fold her hands while the man go to work, a feminist instead will strive to be given the opportunity to work alongside her husband. A feminist fights for equal rights with the man and its appalling to see that so many ladies choose a role that makes them super comfortable and tag themselves as feminists. |

Vinshu:I shouldn't be helping you clarify your statement but I don't mind helping you anyways. Sorry about the MSc. statement, I've clarified myself on that. You clearly said that a woman's employment status in a relationship doesn't matter. Says who Why wouldn't it matter Yh the guy should bear the bulk of the weight but the woman should not be left idle. I went to a provision store one day to get something and a woman came to get two packs of noodles, she said and I quote "I'll bring the money when my husband gets back". If you are a lady and that statement doesn't irritate you then I can welcome you to the association of liabilities, like seriously Why Why should your employment status be of no importance I repeat if the guy doesn't want you working then by all means enjoy being a housewife but if its the other way round, get your lazy ass up and get a job. Some women even get married to rich men who keeps them as housewives and gives them lots of cash yet if a problem is encountered in the marriage they are left broke, its because of this mentality. Some of them lose their husband along the way and they begin to suffer with the innocent children because of this mentality. You should even feel cheated being a housewife cause while the guy is out there building a career, future security and total independence you are busy breastfeeding Junior at home and increasing your level of dependence. I agree with kramfonos, if a woman decides to be a stay at home pest sorry wife without your permission, you are allowed to treat her like trash. *drops pen* sweetheart you don't have to be defensive, we learn everyday... As for the "likes from guys" statement, I'll take that as a slip cause I don't want to believe that you do something that lame "it takes a crook to spot a crook" ![]() |

smileysmiley:I saw where she commented that's she is a feminist. She even confirm it on this thread. smileysmiley:She's working, she just doesn't want to help her man. smileysmiley:Feminists fight to usurp power completely from men not equal right. |

Tallesty1:Do your research again... A feminist only fights for gender equality, although most ladies have redescribed feminism. Anything that doesn't relate to gender equality is just a lame lady trying to adjust everything to how it'll suit her and hide under the term "feminism"... And mind you feminism comes up mostly in situations that have been affected by culture. A feminist is more likely to come and say "Why should I be relegated to house chores while my husband goes to work? I want to be given the opportunity to work too" but Vinshu here is claiming that "as the head of the house, the man must take care of all the expenses while the woman should probably sit at home and breastfeed Junior". She is a culturist and not a feminist. |
