nah i expected 8. Not too sound proud but i found it fairly easy...
If your fluent in english you'll get a minimum of 6.5

Well...I only thought it fair to come back and share my goodnews with you guys(and to also encourage those who at the moment may be feeling they didn't do so well on d test date). Y'all recall the speaking test that I was so scared about? It turned out amazingly well. I had band 7.5 in speaking and an overall band score of 8.0. grin

This is my target to surpass. I can get a Band 9.... I know no other language than English. Cant even speak nor write Yoruba or Igbo.

but that's a valid point u raised.

IMO I don't see how ur ability to speak 2 or more languages impairs or diminishes your abilities in any one of them.

Don't worry you'll be fine. Stuttering is permissible (I think) but in all...you'll find that u did well just wait and see wink

Juss had my speaking test today..the test is not really hard but the lady that interviewed me is super strict compare to the other interviewer that attended to my colleagues,to my utmost surprise the interviewer that attended to the people I met their were so friendly which happens to be a man, to the extent that before he press the record button he already know you are nervous and will calm you down with with little discussion before he press the record button..in my own case tis diff she Juss go straight to the point with hardy face,I was like what kind of soap did I use today with alil bit nervous....all the same I committed everything unto God's hands n also goodluck to the rest of the intending candidates on here...God bless our hustle.

yea.there are colleges n universities u can write a letter to waive TOEFL,stating that Nigeria is an English speaking country....
