For those who are sincerely confused about the figures, let me explain

- $49 billion [/b]is the total amount in 3 years that should have been remitted by the NNPC after selling crude.
- After denial, the NNPC said that if you deduct the amount they spent in expenses, running cost, input to the budget, payments of subsidies, transportation of crude to export, some money it remitted and other expenses, that it is [b]$10.8 billion that is not accounted for.
- Sanusi during the effort to reconcile the account books, stated that President Yar'Adua in 3 occasions directly that subsidy for Kerozine be stop. So if you all the illegal Kerosene subsidies NNPC paid to their friends, it will total $20 billion that was not remitted.

It is important to note that there is no law authorizing NNPC to spend the money the made on sales of Petroleum Products. They ought to remit it to the Federation Account.

So why was it not remitted? Because it allows the President the monopoly to spend the money. But once it gets to Federation Account, a vote and consent of the National Executive Council will be needed before money can be withdrawn and spent.

The first thing we should do is ASK: WHAT DID HE DO WITH THESE AMOUNT ($23M), if truly he WITHDREW such amount from the CBN?

For example:
1.) Where is the paper-request trail, showing that Buhari asked for and was paid $23Million? Why is it difficult for PDP to attach PROOF to their claim?
2.) Was Buhari paid the amount in cash?
3.) Was it paid to him in Lump-Sum or in peice meal (like if you say my a teacher was paid One Million Naira when it actual fact the said teacher received such money over 18 Months, as salary! You see the mischief in such heading? )
4.) How much does the law prescribe for a President, as Estacode?
Did Buhari receive more than what the nations's law prescribed as a President's foreign expenses?
5.) How many trips has the President made, (for which he is entitled to such Estacode) out of the country?
I must point out here that the President has made many trips since he came into office and this is not unconnected with the situation the country was pushed into, by previous administration (from Security issues to corruption/money laundering issues that needs to be ironed out with foreign countries), for which the President is our spokes-person, with other Governments.
What we need to do is compare the "Cost and Benefits" of such trips to determine whether they are worth it.)
6.) Did this amount ($23M) include other "in-direct costs" like fueling his plane, Hotel cost for other "accompanying dignitaries" or was it just cash paid into his pocket?

IT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR A "PDP-#WAILER" TO JUST WRITE A "SCREAMING HEADLINE" .... WITHOUT PROVIDING THE FACTS NECESSARY TO BACK-IT-UP AND FOR ORDINARY NIGERIANS TO EVALUATE AND COME TO A REASONABLE JUDGEMENT ON THE MATTER.
This is called "playing tot he gallery".

When l was working in a corporate entity and sent on foreign training sessions, l was paid "Estacode" (Money to pay for my Hotel Accommodation, feeding and inconveniences .....while out of the country).
Can someone or "a jealous colleague" accuse me of any crime, for being paid such money, by our employer? Or should l have received it or rejected it? Am l "legally entitled" to receive such money?

Let #Wailing PDP provide us with a breakdown of the said $23M Buhari is alleged to have collected and the surrounding circumstances or forever keep #Wailing till 2023!
