I am not here to encourage or discourage anybody but I am just here to share my own experience and those that have ears should here.

I can congratulate you 'only' if you have one of these countries visa ( USA, Canada, UK and Australia).

Have you heard about "bills"? Minus it from your X and you will have a little change left after working like jakkie for a month.

: Well, I don't know if the person you are going there to meet is a fraudster whereby you can become a millionaire within a year cos no miracle or magic to success in Dubai.

As an unskilled worker, the highest pay you should expect range from 800dhm -1200dhm and if you are a skilled worker, expect 1200dhm- 2000dhm. (2000dhm is even if you are lucky.) If anybody tell u another thing apart from this, its a big LIE. The only job that can pay u higher than that is a graduate joba and mind u, these fields are where their citizens are working and its not easy to get employment with your CV and even if you get one, they will still pay u low. Ask your agents well if they will be honest to tell u

That was how I warned a friend but he told me they had assured him everything is cool. I told him to be patient so I can arrange papers for him and bring him to my place but he said he doesn't have money to spend due to the company is responsible for his visa and they didn't inform him they will be deducting it from his salary. What a pity!. I must leave Nigeria.

This is a man who is an average man in Nigeria. He is a professional welder and life is better for him in Nigeria than Dubai. Teeboy22 can testify to my story cos we do chat off Nl and I once sent him a voice audio where the guy was telling me how hard life is for him in Dubai with tears. He hardly send 10k to his family in a month. Teeboy22 prove me wrong cos I do share my experience with u as an expat.

If Dubai isn't slavery, why should a company hold your passport? Lol they already knew the job is hard and the salary is poor so they will threaten you they will cancel your visa and deport u back to your country if you ever complain. Once they make u working visa, you are in their trap cos even if they pay u 500dhm monthly you still have nowhere to go and mind u, No company will employ u unless your old company terminate your appointment. Try protesting or fighting for your right and end your silly a$$ in jail

Dubai isn't meant for greener pasture, it's a business country. Everything is expensive.

Though I wish you guys aiming to migrate there luck

Agarawu....you are right....and also I will give you a hint...my friend in uae is a nurse...she earns 6k aed a month...I will also give you a hint...ask any welder you know if he gets 100k in Nigeria....do you know that UAE is a platform for greater endeavours....use your thinking skills well...I have a friend who started with 1200 aed and the company would pay him 650 only cos they processed his visa...presently he is not accepting 6k aed salary ....truth is UAE is not gold...but it's a platform for greater things...I guarantee you that any Nigerian who is die hard will make BIG money legitimately in uae...it's only a matter of hardwork...patience ...faith and time...abi in your nija beloved are there even jobs at all...you want it free like that like that ba. ..only few of us had easy landing....@Kel any job you see...if your mind says take it TAKE IT....and develop yourself from there onwards...kalas...
