You will be notified on the day the portal will be open for allocation. So you can give your password to abt 2 or 3 people to assist and even yourself will be on d internet before the said time. Last year it was opened on a Saturday by 2pm. After, you are given a room you will then print the page and go to the bank to pay.
Hostels for masters students is a 3- bedded space. Three in a room and it's 8500. The single rooms are allocated to phd students although some masters students are always lucky to have it and it's 12,500.
But either way you can buy a space from a third party but it will be expensive. Some can spell a space gotten for 8500 for 20-25k.

Oh really? I guess you don't want to stay in the pg hall. If you want hostel accommodation and you have the money you had better pay your acceptance fee and first semester fee but if you don't, you may not pay.

#Gbam! God bless you. You just showed me that you are not only reading here but linking all the relevant information concerning this issue and that is how to know the brilliant ones. It is clearly stated in the letter that you should pay the acceptance fee within a month you are offered admission, the question I then asked that guy was if I don't pay within that time frame what happens? And he said there is no penalty or consequences but I should pay it as soon as school opens for a new session.

That's what i'm saying too. If you want the hostel pay within the one month deadline, if you don't want there's no penalty for it. You won't lose ur admission if u don't.

Three- bedded space you mean. Yes for 3 occupants. They may be freshers like you or stalites like me.

It depends on your department. Mine was three times a day. It's a full time program, i don't know what you mean by semi-full time. Which program did you apply for.? Academic or professional masters?

And I work full time too and also the class rep but I was able to manoeuvre my way and here I am writing my final exams.

Semi full time like yours 2-3days a week. Most pt are weekends only. Unmm class rep full time work and all done. Show us the way when we get started. You didn't come from lagos or abuja though(work in I mean)

When is the deadline of payment for both school fees and acceptance. I'm moving my family and office over to ife. I'm on full time. My family is quite a crowd means my budget is high.

Deadline i'm referring to is the one on the admission letter. What i'm saying is if you can't get the money before the deadline elapses, no cause for alarm. You can pay whenever you have it. But I emphasized that if you want a pg accommodation, then you have to pay your fees within that time let's just say before the portal for allocation is opened. It is then you can apply for accommodation and it's not free of charge.
