Sir...so basically the hairs on your back are standing up because I pointed out that your were using shorthand? Folks just need to work on their irritability levels mehn!!! Every little thing, they go on the defensive!!!

You can type in tinyhand if you want Dear.

Besides, having an android is not an excuse. I believe that majority of the 'longhand typing' citizens use android phones so definitely not an excuse you should boldly adopt. Anyways... Good luck!

I don't understand dis girl

Good jab OP

My questions will come in batches, Please.

1. Can one work his/her preferred state of service outside the choices made during online registration?
For example a person desires Lagos but did not choose it from the state options given.

2. When is the appropriate time to work your desired state, should it be after posting or right now before posting using ur call-up number?
For those who have connections tho'

3. Can one learn a skill outside NYSC while serving at the same time?

4. Are there rooms to acquire professional certificationd in camp?

5. Is there any posting advantage for joining the OBS group?

Thanks in anticipation

PS any one with the right answer can also contribute.

3. Can one learn a skill outside NYSC while serving at the same time?

definitely yes

4. Are there rooms to acquire professional certifications in camp?

yes. and this might extend to your service year

5. Is there any posting advantage for joining the OBS group?

Probably.. But it also differs with camp.. Just contribute your best and have fun.

Thanks in anticipation

PS any one with the right answer can also contribute.

1. Under the Buhari regime the NYSC has also undergone the “change” evolution so it is very impossible to do that considering the fact that everything has gone digital. Posting is now programmed. As we speak, you state of deployment has most likely been selected for you out of the choices you made.

2 Just forget am bro
3. That should depend on your PPA. If they are understanding, they can give you some days off weekly. If not, hmmm
4. In camp? No. During your service year? Yes
5. Yes

It is extremely difficult because deployment is automatically chosen from the states you chose.

You will go to camp as usual to register. During registration, they would ask for pregnant and nursing mothers to register and go back home, only to return during swearing in, swearing out and other significant events like allowance collection, etc. After camp, you find your PPA and work as normal...Pregnancy does not prevent you from working. You might just get extra days off for ante natal, etc but you more or less work like everyone else until you are due.

Make sure you take your doctor's confirmation of pregnancy and any relevant documents proving the pregnancy. After camp, ensure you take the same documents to your local nysc secretariat and inform your local government inspector so that you can get your maternity leave, etc.

Hope this helps.

Thanks darkchocolate for taking out time to sort out our questions. My question is;I registered as a married woman. After registration,I was told my call up number will be sent to my phone, but I have not seen it till now.I have it on the green card I printed out though.I just want to know if it has any effect because most persons had theirs sent to their phones even after printing it on the green card.I don't know why mine is an exemption.Could it be because I registered as a married woman?
