I serve in sokoto state but uptill now I have not received my December allowance. I ve done everything they asked me to do,yet they kept saying that the issue has been rectified n I will get my money soon..please any solution for me.

Lagos State new nysc state coordinator encorages corpers to tweet and text him directly with such issues...have you tried finding out if your state coordinator is accessible...or you can make friends with a CDs coordinator or your LGI and get them to look into it. The easiest way to get things in NYSC is to befriend people, especially officials. You NYSC life will become a whole lot easier. Try it...might work! Just bide your time. Goodluck

Yes you can but you have to provide proof, affidavit, etc and then apply for redeployment. Good luck.

Everyone starts off with marching for the first few days...till after swearing in... and then break away into other groups. Just find a group that doesn't involve marching and you are good to go.

Ramanto !!!! Well everyone will be taught how to march from day 1. And like darkchoko said,for the first 2/3 days every corps member who is healthy must partake in it. The surest way to avoid it is to join the OBS in camp, and maybe,just maybe Red Cross. Marching will hold during the march past competition much later in camp. But there would be practice EVERYDAY so its almost the same as marching except,sundays probably.

I'm a fresh graduate hoping 2 serve in d 2016' Batch A,Stream 1 Mobilisation in april. But rumor has been flying round for d past few days that d date for d Stream 1 orientation camp has been shifted till 27th April instead of d initial 1st April.
Some people suspected dat cyber criminals are behind d rumors.Different sources linking 2 NYSC official websites have d info on dier sites,while another site said otherwise.
I've checked dier official portal @portal.nysc.org.ng and I saw 1st of April dere,while some of my mates are saying dat they saw 27th April for Stream 1 on nysc.gov.ng.
Pls can u help me clarify dis rumor? Many of us are confused right now. Ur responses will be appreciated. Thank u and God bless.

I don't know why you would delay when doctors are essentially Demi Gods both in camp and during their service years (a good ppa will pay you upwards of 100k)... If only I didn't hate the smell of blood...it is well!

Wait til official date..Those dat printed theirs was d negligence of NYSC site,and it had been blocked..

we wea told 2 submit our information page of our Nigerian passport by skul 2 send our names 4 evaluation letter which i av done and was told d letter will be ready before d next batch.

d prob i av now is i av misplaced d Nigerian passport recently and I was told.we av 2 tender it at d camp

I av done affidavit and police report for d missing passport. heard i wil need 2 go 2 abuja lik 3tyms which wil require lots of money to obtain new passport. i really dont wana go tru dis brouhaha bcuz i wana serve my father land.

cant I jux go 2 camp with my sworn affidavit and police report of d lost passport , without d need of getting a new

Anyways, why do you need to go to Abuja for a passport? Can't you sort it out locally?

The best thing will be to attend your local nysc secretariat and verify whether the affidavit will suffice.

Logically speaking, even if you get a new passport, it will not contain your study visa, exit and entry stamps which is what they want to see when they ask for your passport, so I doubt a new passport would make a difference.
