Stillchriss I hate to bring this up again but you misunderstood me. I didn't mean that this is specific to Nigerians or Africans, in fact Europeans are much worse, they murdered on an industrial scale in the holocaust and the tribal war in Yugoslavia where the Serb, Bosnian, Kosovo,.. tribes slaughtered each other. Yes Africa is usually looked down on especially if you look at the ICC where Africans have been convicted for supporting and inciting conflicts while Europe supports and incites conflict in Syria by arming rebels to depose a legitimate government. Or how Mugabe is labeled a despot while despots like the king of S.Arabia runs the country like it is in the middle ages. Take a look at this

saudi is a ticking bomb welfare society where saudi are catered from cradle to grave and with dwindling resources,90% of saudi lack informal education and most the labour force is foreign.i even wonder how it function as a state!

Jap that's a mi28.....small mistake on patches's part, one of those where you just subconsciously type without reading it afterwards.

I'm pretty sure he knows the difference between the two.

i think its because fuel price are low grin ,a couple of week back for a whole week they were patrolling my neighbourhood. the low oil price have even given the KAF moral to bomb alshabaab on a regular basis.when ever i check #alshabaab there always report of KAF bombing alshabaab .the government has pushed the police to seriously increase its state of alertness.the newly acquired VN4 APC are already in baragoi and other parts of northeastern

The old guard still our security agencies are usually slow to change.considering how cheap and of varies variety of FLIR pods in the market ,i wondering why this isn't a requirement when they are doing this refurbishment.also why wasn't this done in house ,like may be the air force !

The old gear you guys used to wear makes your men seem so much more professional.

If you compare footage of your guys in Sierra Leon or Liberia to footage of your guys today... the "old boys" seem, aesthetically, to be the more professional army

Emphasis: aesthetically speaking, not refering to actual ability or quality but meerly the effect the uniform has on "image"
It's hard to look professional aesthetically when,

Army wears : Old woodland Camo, Old desert Camo, New woodland Camo, New desert Camo.

Airforce : old plain green Camo and blue Camo

Navy: blue Camo.

However, with the new harmonised Cammos (Universal and Woodland) the boys are looking very smart.

We also need to take into account, the Nigerian army deploys 20,000 men in the North-East. Compared to the 5,000 men deployed in SLR or Liberia.

IBSAMAR 5: India, Brazil, South Africa Maritime Exercise held every 2 years, starting in 2008 with the host rotating amongst the 3 democracies in BRICS. Normally held in SA because it's central to both India and Brazil, this year's exercise was held in India because both the Brazilian and SA Navy were there for the International Fleet Review.

@Henry: you should have read the wailing in various Indian defence for after the first exercise when they compared the pics - not the equipment they chose to bring - of their SF to SA and Brazil! cool
I'm sorry, i really don't follow Indian Defence Forums.

Senegalese navy OPV. This vessel or a similar class, Andoni class are described as Seaward defence boats.

Vessel categorisation differs from country to country.
