@stone4rock- i read ur comment with interest. i am to attend a conference in italy from july 13 and i am worried that my visa(i applied for a business visa) may be an impediment as it may not come out on time (with all i am reading here now, it indeed is a cause for alarm), is there nothing amyone can do besides watch and pray? pls advice

Plz I need ur advice concerning family reunion visa at italy embassy lagos. I submitted my documents at legalization session for their stamp b4 I could be able to apply for visa. D issue now is the consulate said, the man that sign my documents at Nigerian foreign affair in abuja has a problem with d foreign affairs management for d sake of that, all documents signed by d man at d period of May, June and July are on hold. At italy embassy. My documents are among. My husband ve be calling d embassy bet them are not responding to his calls. should I go to foreign affairs to complain? I ve be praying for long. Whenever An unemployed Nigerian applies for a tourist or visit visa to Italy, they aint coming back lol. That's cos Italy hardly shuts her doors to refugee seekers.

you can't be sponsored by anyone if your intended travel is for the purpose of tourism. for sponsorship to be acceptable, you would need to be applying for a training, a course, or a seminar. etc

No. The only exception is for minors who can be sponsored by their parents or siblings.

You must present your personal bank statement even if a company is sponsoring you.
