Igbo race---Rare race, tiger race, the race with survival instinct engraved in their DNA....no matter the negligence from the FG.south east will always survive. Even if that bridge collapse, they go still manage. Imagine giving every single Igbo man in Nigeria only 20pounds after civil war,yet they are one of richest nowadays..... I salute una |

Budget based on oil and borrowing based on oil will not feature project in the oil rich region? Can the North take that if the oil was to be in the North? |

danidee10:I have now realized the error of my boastful ways and shall issue a public apology to the SE and Eboes soon.I realize that developmentally the SE is decades ahead of the SW and we need to catch up. I can only appeal to our Eboe brothers to show some understanding and fairness so we can catch up They already have one River Niger but we have no bridge in our region traversing the major rivers. Also we need government support to change the brown roofs that causes so much embarrassment ,let us call that the Brown Roof Substitution Fund.Out of a budget of $30 billion I think it is fair to set aside $1 billion for this fund God Bless Nigeria |

Outrage over what, what Jonathan did for the east? Igbo keep finding fault against Buhari on everything even when it is obvious the past government which they so celebrated was the cause, they should go and ask the pdp man Oshiomole accused to be in possession of the 700billion meant for the project or any Igbo man that is disgruntled with this government should go and plung into the Niger bridge river, the government owes you nothing. |

"Buhari hates Igbos", 'we are watching him (Buhari) closely etc. WHAT BLOODY NONSENSE!! Just for ten months? Where were you all when our own Goodluck Jonathan was President for six as in 1 2 3 4 5 6 YEARS? IF JONATHAN COULD NOT CONSTRUCT THE SECOND NIGER BRIDGE IN SIX YEARS, WHY MUST SAME BRIDGE BE IN BUHARI' S PRIORITY LIST? Besides, if I were Buhari, for such a mega project, I will recheck the contract terms and evaluate the extent of work already done and monies spent already before continuing with the whole thing. |

![]() Let us be honest here. Jonathan dragged this project because it was part of the bait to garner votes from you Igbos. It is curious that he took on the name Azikiwe just before commissioning. GEJ scammed you lot and you fell for it. Blame your brother. Ask him for the project schedule. How much has been released and what scope should the initial sum cover? Victim mentality makes your case weak. Begin to direct the right questions to the right people. |

Stolen:And where exactly are all these imaginary Yorubas you see jubilating over this report? Must everything be reduced to an Igbo vs. Yoruba matter? It might shock you to learn that there are actually Yoruba people who support any project that brings prosperity to other parts of the country! |
