If federal govt can't do the bridge due to funding, they should realise that a typical Igbo man is rich and should create a platform for them to contribute funds for the bridge with a promise of staking their names on the bridge and pay them back after a stipulated time frame.

IBB did not start the 3rd mainland bridge but his name is synonymous with it for having completed the longest bridge. For that singular reason Lagos state cannot forget him when the history of Lagos is read.
It will only do Buhari's govt a lot more good to try and complete it. At this stage PMB has seen it all the only thing he can be doing is to leave a good legacy behind

Flimsy excuse? Did you read the article? Why not point out the flimsy excuse as to why the project was suspended. Have you seen the contract details of the said contract the true son of SS signed? How much had been paid to the contractor? What of the allegations of $700 million paid for the contact? Should the government not investigate the contract before deciding on what steps to take next.

You are talking about jubril aminu that was minister more than 30 years ago? What of all the ministers since then? You guys had Dr. Obi Ezekwesli as education minister, why did she not not build the library if it was so important to igboland.
Igbos has 7 governors, more than 20 senators, more than 60 house of representative members, numerous ministers and other important political positions, why can these political representatives push and promote the igbo agenda? If the igbo governors or the igbo senators advocate for the second Niger bridge, i am sure the FG would be left with no choice but to listen. I find it strange that it is kanu and some Aba traders and some unknown entities on social media that are pushing the igbo agenda.
