I'm with toolz on this one.

Nothing stopped them from getting someone else to model their clothes. Toolz is a brand, and they should have gotten her consent before posting and advertising her and her dress.

Everybody loves freebies, and I can see the we sensiq fashion boutique wants more sales using the Tools factor. They should at least get the consent.

The reason I am asking is. the Sensei Style people also admitted that they are 'selling' the look and not the dress. Please, aunty, is that not fraud. Let us say you are the customer and you expected the exact same 'look' that was advertised using the picture (I don't want to go into the legal implications of using a person's photo without permission, too long) and then you are given a watered down version of this dress that looks like a scarecrow's nightie. Anyway, 'bring her down' is surely sweeter than the truth... Her image is the only thing she has... Let her defend it...

Abeg leave legal matter aside, it depends on where the fashion retailer copied from , if it's in a cyber space like Facebook with their disclaimer that you have no legal rights to anything you put up there, then the retailers are just being nice by removing it, all those China online stores advertising fine fine wears are all selling replicas and not the original they advertised.
