First Public Speedtest From Ntel's 4G LTE Advanced Network! by texazzpete(m): 11:42am On Apr 08, 2016
Ntel is set to launch today, and I've been intrigued by their promises of ultra fast mobile broadband.

I've just seen the first publicly available speedtest from the network, run by one of the network testers.

Hint: It's FAST!

If this can be sustained (should be possible, they promise a max of 230mbps) this should be great for subscribers.

Now all they need is affordable internet packages

nah. 5mbps is a start, but it's not enough in the long run for everything.

I use MTN Hynet LTE unlimited 5mbps (4pm - 6am). It's pretty good and can stream without buffering, but more speed is always appreciated in this era when the average PC game is 30GB

LOL, is it this 55Mbps that you're doubting?

Ntel is promising 230Mbps!

Not when they reach 5million subscribers, they will start to misbehave like the other network providers.

lol true..5mb/s can do our badic streaming hassle free..ma point is rather than promise us 260mb/s at ridiculous prices..just give us unlimited 5mb/s.

Wow...that Mtn hynet stuff is news to me

Seems like a good speed, though I'm unimpressed. They promised 230Mbps, and given that there isn't much traffic on their network yet, so why 55Mbps? Though there are other factors that may have been the reason for such low speed, like speed or antenna limitation on the tested phone, or the tested device is not LTE-A capable, among others.
