Hello nairalanders you guys are awesome.

Please a quick question,

A house of rep member has informed me he's willing to provide me with his statement of account as a sponsor.

He's not my family.

Please how do I convince the vo for proof of relationship.

Are you from the same constituency with him/her? If yes he/she can say it's a constituency scholarship he pledged during b4 elected but you/he/she will need to explain how you were chosen...let's hope it will convince the VO

What are you planning to fill there? When did you graduate? What have you been doing since you graduated? Whatever your conclusion is, you have to defend it with documents.....just my own tip for you

I applied on 31st Dec, 2015 but my transcript got there very late, around late February. I was told in the mail that Sept intake is filled up already, that my admission would be in Jan 2017.

So, calm down. You would be contacted very soon.
Oh, so your admission is for January 2017 What's your major? Thesis or coursework?

Any St. Lawrence College applicant for Masters on here? I need some information. Thank you.

@abestine thank your very much for your response. I was beginning to think my question has been ignored .Please I got response from the Usask supervisor I mailed asking if i meet up to 80% average and excel in English language and also my funding ability as funding offer is limited . Though I attached my transcript to the initial mail I sent. And stated that I had a 4.2 gpa. Please advise on a suitable response to give. I will appreciate a swift response. I'm yet to decide on Brandon university because the course is not in line with my areas of interest while I'm still trying to find a supervisor for university of Manitoba. I've seen a couple of interesting research so I will be sending my mails to them this week.
Thanks again.

Bro, I read you're yet to make a decision on Brandon University Masters in Environmental and Life Sciences programme.. There are plethora of chemistry faculty members in MELS ranging from Organic, Inorganic, physical, Analytical to Biochemistry..
Have you tried to mail Dr.Eric Bushnell?, Dr. Michael Charrette? Dr.Vincent Chen?. Dr Bryan Hill?.Dr Adrain weber (He's an Adjunct Prof).. May I ask, what's the area of your interest?.. Don't forget MELS is an interdisciplinary programme and one need to have diverse knowledge in some particular areas to be at the forefront..

Anyways, Nice CGPA.. I envy

Thanks for this pieces of information.

Please i have a few question. I want to apply as a student to Canadian universities/colleges. But i am little confused.

1. I graduated from high school in 2011 and i had a year and few months work experience. Later i went for a 3 years diploma(first diploma) course in computer science.

2. I want to apply to schools in canada with the same course but on an advanced level diploma or Degree.

3. Whats is my chances of been accepted and given study permit since most schools in canada preferred Higher diploma or Degrees or even High school diploma.

4. Do you think applying with High school diploma is cool or i should apply with my first(ordinary diploma).

Thanks.

Nobody willing to answer me here self. na wa o

Well I am new on the thread, though I have been following silently for a while. Please I need an admission letter for a scholarship that is closing in 2 weeks time. Is it possible to get that from any Canadian University? MSc Petroleum engineering (reservoir engineering).... Please the gurus in the house, help a sis please.
Hi I'm also going for Petroleum Engineering but looking to major in Drilling Engineering. Is there any reason like an advantage why you chose reservoir engineering over other areas?

(4.2/5)*100 =90% so you have 90% which is above the 80% he/she is looking for. So yes!

If you have a source for funding, let him/her know, your admission is 40% sure, as long as you have the money to pay, d 60% now depend on you and your supervisor's ability to fight for you during admission process.

Tell him/her that the language of taught throughout your undergraduate was English that you can get him/her a proof of proficiency in English from your university (if you can get it, if you can't don't tell him/her that). And tell him/her that if test of English as a FOR ign language is a compulsory requirement, that you won't mind registering for it.

If he/she is impressed, he/she may interview you on Skype, work with you to develop your proposal and God will grant your effort will success. Best of God

No but in your sponsor account must be school fees + CAD 13,000 + enough money for other dependants. Now if you are sponsoring yourself, the same applies to you. Good luck.
