Truth is as a guy, it'd definitely enter your head cos you don't get to experience it always. Its comes often and don't forget we're humans,so that's where ego/pride comes in. But the matured ones would put the lady in their shoes and act accordingly and that's if she does attract the guy, if not he might just play a blind one to her plea. MyOpinion#

guess that's a big deal in Africa.

I get my fair share of that. I just see it like a guy asking a girl out too. obviously we must be close enough for them to know I am single.
I simply and respectfully let them know that if I do a yess I will be selfish and insensitive. we will end up ruining our present relationship, so let's just play it the way we r.
well most of them stay around and later get to introduce me to their bfs. while some still keep hoping for a better future.

what can I do? some guys too are out there that won't take no for an answer and they ain't bn crucified.

we should have mutual respect for each other's feelings and emotions.

I have had the experience more than twice. The first was during my youth service, a fellow corp member told me that she loves me and asked if i loved her too. Second experience was my former sales girl, she just called one night and said to me that she loves me and has been doing everything to get my attention but failed. And the third is still ongoing, she is my neighbor and has been asking me about out. But the funniest and unfortunate thing is that they are not my type.

The taking advantage thing is normal, it is peculiar to both sex, girls do take advantage too, so, what's wrong in a guy also taking advantage

Things is, we Africans dont have that perception of the saying no to the females (especially Igbo boys) but them ladies should be most appreciated in the society. But most home boys sees them as weak, cheap, desperate and a free pu.ssy offer. We tend to capitalize on this young gallant ladies.

We African males cant even say no to anything that would offer us free mess.

My advice to the ladies is to keep their feelings to themselves, if the dude feels same, he would def come around.
