Its not so glaring in all countries. In Nigeria for example the Population of Men is as much as the Female population. If not why do you think Nigerian women still do yanga to men. In some countries you dont go true much stress to have a woman. I heard in Spain its more glaring the female population is more than that of men.

This right here is our problem in this country. "Let's leave it for God." "God knows why it is so." "It's stated in the Bible." These kind of statements and line of thought, are the bane of development in sub saharan Africa.

So because something is stated in the bible means it's correct? Hello! The bible in the book of Joshua stated that Joshua told the sun and the moon to stand still. But does the sun rotate round the earth in the first place? No. If westerners would have just stopped and believed that verse of the scripture, because it was in the bible, then they wouldn't have understood planetary rotation and the design and arrangement of the solar system.

We all have brains. Let's put it to use and find answers for ourselves. If men reasoned the way you are doing, and left every question to be answered by God, we would never have advanced the way we have as humans, especially in the fields of science and technology. It's because men had questions and they sort to find their own answers to those questions and they weren't waiting for God to miraculously reveal those answers to them, that's why we are where we are today.

Good thing people have already invested time into researching to find the answer to OP's question. A simple google search is all you need.

I once had a chronic argument with some of my northern friends (I study in the northern part of the country).

I'm a christian , they are Muslims . it started as a mere argument but later escalated to a big religion discussion.

here it is , I said I found one of the hadith quoted by the prophet Mohammed hypocritical , the hadith goes like this (if I'm not mistaken) " everyone is born a Muslim , other people practicing other religion are diverted".

none of them could defend or give me a sane remark about that statement, funny enough they rounded it up by saying " the prophet cannot be wrong ".


I could not stop myself from laughing , the prophet was a human isn't he?, the same prophet married the wife of his adopted son.


I'm not a religious bigot or an ATHEISTS or sort but it was so irrational and hypocritical to me. Christians have theirs too.

like I've always said " when Nigerians run out of idea, that's when they include GOD.

Most companies that offer customer service have the phrase - "The customer is always right," as one of their work ethics. This is only an incentive to foster proper stewardship and encourage better costumer service. But even a 10 year old knows this isn't true. The customer can not always be right. But the workers are forced to act by it. Even the bosses who implement this particular work system, know that it's just a false supposition. But still, it's for a reason. And that reason is to incite better output and prevent discord and squabbles between the workers and the customers.

That's the way it is with Religion. Religion creates this kind of warped system of thought, so as to achieve the primary aim of controlling the minds and action of it's adherents and to forfend rebellion against it's doctrines. It also does this to discourage logical thinking and proper examination of it's principles and beliefs, because as they say, Logic and Religion don't work hand in hand; But this is just a cowardly intent at evading appraisal. If Religion doesn't want to pass through the burrow of logical scrutiny, then it means it has loop holes that it is afraid will be unearthed.
