I trust Buhari to read it send it back to the House for a few grey areas to be sorted out.

When that is done a trip to Cuba would be embarked upon after his return it would be considered and then re-sent to the House again for due diligence and then 3 years from now he would go on to withdraw his support.

But who else can we follow to root-out evil in this nation sad

if the bird learns to fly without perching, the hunters will device new shooting method.

The entity that gave ccb its powers now wants to neutralize those powers. Goodmorning CCB.

But lemme ask one question. If this Saraki of a man escape CCB, will he also escape EFCC ? i am jst asking o.

pls go and read your constitution on who has the final veto power when it comes to making a law. When the president refused to sign same, the NASS after 30days will call for a joint sitting and if they can pass it again with 2/3 it becomes law and the president assent will not be needed again.
pls read your books, especially the constitution so that u won't be making unguided statements in public forum

LadyExcellency:
The act of NASS establishing NDDC was also not signed (vetoed) by President Obsanjo but the Lawmakers set aside his veto by 2/3rd majority vote.

Today, we have Niger Delta ministry and NDDC
Abeg help me tell them. The NASS can override the president's veto and pass the bill into law

Pa C, can you actually swear that in your heart of hearts, you believe the northerners will align with that?

Ordinary small kwanta between Kwankwanso & Ganduje, with the latter alleging that kwankwanso is working against Bubu...... Kano people already don stop donning his kwankwansiyya cap!!

See as our South people bungled the Lag-cal rail thing, we all know that if reverse had been the case, we would not have peace!

North think brotherhood, before politics!!!
Saraki is also a Northerner and has also gotten 82 senators (more than 2/3) to pass a vote of confidence on him before.Forget Tinubu!! This is national politics

Just as they have the powers to "tweak" the budget, so does the constitution empowers the president to veto any bill!

At this juncture, all that is left is to count the days to 2019, this present NASS case is a forgone conclusion, Nigeria nor fit see any profit from this transaction, make loss nor too plenty na the only prayer.
Unfortunately, I think they need just two thirds of d senate to over-ride d president's veto. Since they all are corrupt and it might be anyone's turn tomorrow, getting two thirds won't be a prob!

Shit happens!

Saraki has not been charged with any act of looting. He is only been charged with a politically motivated charge of false declaration of assets.Besides people like you defended Buhari when he forged WAEC certificates to become president so please you don't have any high moral grounds above me.You are only pissed because Saraki messed up the APC plans of chosing the senate president.

I am yet to hear you condemn corrupt APC ministers like Fashola and Amaechi who have been clearly seen to have soiled their hands
The issue is that Saraki failed the disclosure test for public servants both for offshore as well as onshore assets. The law says if he is found guilty he will be removed from his post and banned from future political office.

As we speak the reputation of both the Saraki and Ojora families has been permanently tarnished. You attempt to obscure what is a very simple matter by reining in other parties on the basis of " he wasn't the only one that did it" such a defence is puerile and self serving.

In every action and step taken so far to delay the trial of this case he has only succeeded in clothing himself with public disgrace. That an English public school boy could descend this low into the cesspool of Nigerian life is perfect proof that education is character and not certification.

The attempt to change the law will fail. There is not enough soap in nigeria to wash him clean off the smell of his chicanery.

it is easier to get the 2/3 in this present NASS than ever. The NASS is polarized by apc immaturity to put their house in order.
NDDC act was passed with just 2/3 majority because Obj refused his assent. Buhari as advised by Baraje is not playing politics, what destroyed pdp will surely destroy apc because Nigerians don't learn from history.

If you don't see saraki in danger over the trial, he sees himself in it ,otherwise he would not have being running from one level of appeal court to another up to supreme court to quash his trial in CCB.

People like you can deceived him into prediction.
Tell him not to bother about amendment if he is innocent .

dead on arrival.
Even if Buhari vetoes the bill, the National Assembly can override the veto by a 2/3 majority in both houses.

Saraki should see the CCT trial as an opportunity to prove his integrity and innocency to the whole.
To evade the trial will prove otherwise.

Somebody close to him or his wife should help me give him my free counsel, I will not collect any charge fro him.

Technically, it can become law without the president's assent.

If it's presented to the president and he takes no action on it (veto or signing it into law) within a specified number of days, the bill becomes law.

In addition, if Buhari vetoes the bill, NASS could override it with a 2/3 vote in both houses. Successfully overriding the presidential veto means that the bill has become law.
