What have you been able to do concerning your own predicament?

Try applying at midnight using npf.gov.ng

Ur operation shouldn't be a barrier. Just apply and pray that the wounds heals before we re called up for medical examination.

Its a heavy barrier. You cant join any Force at all after a surgery.

Hahaha anytime I want to laugh I just come to Nairaland. To the guy that has a surgery, forget whatever they say as far as your injury has healed you can join any force in the world, a friend of mine had a serious cut in the stomach when he was robbed, he had serious stitches that gave him everlasting marks, but today he is a lieutenant in the Army, he joined immediately we finished NYSC. Surgeries always live scars on the body, but be very sure yours have healed completely or else it would open up again during training in camp if you eventually make it, don't mind anyone.

Bro there is no age limit on the police website, disregard any news regarding age they are lies. Apply with your real age to avoid stories that touched, someone applied and when we did a calculation of when he started primary school it happened to be 2 years, that has landed him into a mess.

I said the website not one foolish paper, when there is a job placement in Nigeria you see the details and requirement on their sites, check that of Army, Navy, Airforce, and even the last Immigration recruitment, you will see both academic and age qualifications, but on the Police website they only made mention of qualification with no age limit, that's how you people go about discouraging potential qualified candidates, stop it. Wow! the application form is so straight forward. I love nairaland so much. I got all the necessary info i needed before logging into the portal. I hadn't chrome browser but after going through comments here, i downloaded the app. and it gave me zero stress. I also did what some people advised by being awake till 12 mid night before logging in. Thumbs up to nairaland, to chrome , to glo 3G n to my wonderful tecno M5 lol. For those of us asking about G. FORM, it would be taken along side ur confirmation letter from ur email "IF" u receive an sms or another email from them to proceed to next stage. one could be exempted due to other reasons like health issue e.t.c not only age. I stand to be corrected if am wrong.

... He said one useless newspaper...how can a newspaper advert for Nigerian police force without their consent.... The fact is in any recruitment process there is always age limit...

Anyway I am not an applicant but I tell those that want to apply to do so, no one really knows why the age restriction was omitted on their website, only the Police know better, Nigerian newspapers carry a lot of fake news these days, when Immigration did their recruitment they only used the NTA but many other newspapers freely carried the news on their own as service to nationhood that I know. So my stand still remain, don't discourage others from applying let the selection board do the shortlisting after all the form is free of charge.
