A letter written by President Muhammadu Buhari to apply for application to write an examination into the Nigerian army has surfaced online. The letter obtained by Premium Times showed that the army was referred to as the Royal army at the time and the president, in his handwriting, stated his age and what academic qualification he had.

President Buhari who is in far away China on a four-day diplomatic visit, where he is strengthening ties between Nigeria and the Asian country, was an 18-year-old teenager at the time.

The letter President Buhari wrote to join the Nigerian army at the age of 18. Some Nigerians think, however, that little has changed about the president about 55 years after applying to join the soldiers.

People say his Fulani mentality is still always on display when the president takes certain decisions, while some are of the opinion that he did not write the letter himself.

Naij.com also recently gathered five pictures that not just prove the president’s literacy, but that he is one of the people to have worn the camouflage of the Nigeria army.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian army on Wednesday, April 13, announced the commencement of recruitment for young officers who are interested in becoming soldiers.
Has President Buhari changed much from he wrote that letter?

This was why they hid his result.
He left college in 1961, that's 55yrs of being a dullard.

Failed woefully in Maths, the result of his failure is evident looking at the shambolic budget of corruption.

Even the so-called letter shows he was still in school and hadn't acquired his WAEC yet. The supposed certificate calls him 'Mohamed Buhari' while the contrived application has him addressing himself as 'Muhammadu Buhari'.

Why that discrepancy on something as fundamental as his name? A very common name borne by almost half of the male islamic adherents...does that result belong to the president as we know him or someone is trying to cover up a glaring breach of the constitution.

Time will expose any and every underhanded tactic employed by anyone to ascend into an undeserved office he's not even qualified for.

Too blunt to be swallowed by me.

And you who got the best result in your school is here on nairaland flexing your "knowledge" ote
