Please I want to kindly request that a special section be created for aviation related topics. I'm a commercial pilot and I'm yet to find my niche here on nairaland.

It will be great to have an aviation section where pilots and aviation fans can connect.

I support the need for an Aviation Section and not a subsection, aviation is very very vast and I know quite a number of Pilots (Fixed Wing and Helicopter) , Flight Attendants, Engineers, Dispatchers and aviation enthusiasts who use nairaland both nationally and internationally, it's a pain really to have to sieve through various threads to look for aviation related topics.

There aren't that many aviation related topics here besides the plane crashes, but there are other forums dedicated solely to the topics and areas you mentioned.

Thanks for coming up with this idea, we can start with a thread like this and see if there is a need for expansion.

I will try as much as I can to make sure that the thread is not derailed. I know jack about aviation so if you see inappropriate post please use the report button to report it and it will be removed.

I work for a popular middle eastern airline.
My training was financed by private sponsorship but when I switched aircraft types, my employer was responsible for the bills.
