Reyginus, haven't you noticed that they know how to sail around every questions that would really tell you something about who they really are/think/feel... instead they are busy with the image they carefully build here...they stay pretty superficial despite their so called intelligence. Its somehow remarkeable that those who accuse others (among which religion) to be corrupt, telling fairytales, being fake,etc... give a demonstration of exactly that.

One can show compassion (lol im not being emotional about Jack hahaha, dont give him illusions o) without involving too much of the own person and energy into it. Imagine I go in the flow with every suffering patient I encounter? I would be death by now.

I guess I have wasted too much time of my life with bad boys. It worked like a vaccination. I am pretty immunized now. It became very helpful for my current career and relationships with people as well. If people are being negative just because of discontentment with their own self or as a result of their own negativity, there is nothing I can do about it so I also don't make it my problem. They can swallow the sh*t of their own karma. They actually need to, in order to be able to change and become better. On the other hand, when someone is in some pain about something I have a part in, play a role in or can be of help in, then its a whole other story, I wont look away just for the sake of avoiding suffering people in order not to empty my own energy. Thats a too selfish approach.

The problem is not in the tuning to...not in AlJazeera...its in how you process the information that comes to you. How close you allow it to come to your skin. How you process it and which place you allow it to take.

Of course one can kick the TV out of the window..but then you are walking on the street and you see sort of live Aljazeera and you won't be weaponed against it...you gonna stay indoors your whole life? to protect yourself against any chance on negativity?

The processor is in yourself ...you can put the filter there ;-)

I think child-like innocence doesnt disappear, it gets burried.... Not sure though, you might be right, its my child-like innocence that makes me think it cant be destroyed. I should be smarter, being faced with the impossibility of it before. Some scar tissue in people growing up in certain places becomes too harsh to handle and it injuries everyone who gives it a try and that way pays forward the loss. But its only when you keep the child-like innocence that you keep your capacity to love... so dont give up on it, dont lose it
