I think u have not give it load, I mean put on all ur appliance's, if u put on all ur appliances and it till persist, ur caprator is faulty, the gen is breathing is not running.

I usually give it one 60W bulb, led tv, then charge phones and laptop.

Good evening and thanks for the wonderful works you are doing here. We just bought a New Sumec ECO3990ES generator and the fuel consumption is so high. When we first ran it, it consumed 10litres in about 3 hours with 1 Fridge and normal home lighting on.

What do you think can be responsible for this?

gud evning,1liter suppose to work at least 2hours, i dont realy know how to discribe the screw that u need to tight in d caprator for u to identify, let me give u one tip,then tomorow i will try and give u the pic of the screw u need to tight,
now just make sure the firing of the engine is not too high, if is high low it.

It can not carry it 1800 gen is too small,
And 1800 gen is between 24000-26000,
pls dont buy sumec product on 1800, i will advice u to buy hairthermacool product on 18000,their are product are ok when it come to 18000 gen set

@enochogaga, thanks for your help. I have a tiger generator that is misbehaving. When I put it on, the output voltage is very high and has repeatedly blown my white bulbs. Reducing the output by turning the screw underneath the tank does not work and have to put heavy load on the generator to use it. However, 5 to 10 minutes of this high output, the output will become low while the sound of the generator will increase. Will now have to decrease the load to use the generator. If the TV is on and you try to add a laptop, the generator will start misfiring.

@enochogaga, thanks for your effort. Before you sent the pics, i got a technician who lowered the output/speed of the generator. It was actually high. The situation is okay now. The fuel consumption is now reasonable.

Secondly all ur listed brand of generator are thesame brand but labbel with diffrent names, but dont buy tiger,jingling,or any gen builded in tiger shape, they can burn ur applainces,cos they use capacitor not avr.

We have two oil seal, one is at the back of the flywheel,the starter side, while the second one is located just aftet the coil, the oil seal is black roung rubber

Also I noticed the compressor for the small refrigerator 230W doesn't operate normally even with the ac off. Apart from these the lighting seems OK and the electronics set are working without issues. the gen voltage is a bit on the low though at 200V.

The AC and fridges works very fine with Nepa
The gen is a fairly used gen. I just recently bought it.
The engine seems to be working very fine upon loading it with the ac. only that the light flickers. Without ac (but with fridge on) everything is normal just that the refrigerator compressor sounds abnormal and does not cool properly.
I have also tried adjusting the firing when on Ac. The light flickering stops, but the AC works with loud mourning noises. When I turn off the AC, the generator will be firing at high speed and noise.
So please what do you think? The generator should be smoking heavily if the rings were to be bad right??
