Court stops The Swearing in of Victoria Nyeche for criminal impersonation, illegal use of Assembly Letterhead
A Rivers State High Court has restrained the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly from Swearing in Mrs Victoria Nyeche of PortHarcourt State Constituency 1 for criminal impersonation and illegal use of Assembly Letterhead when she was not an inaugurated member of the House.
This followed a suit filed by Livingstone Wechie and granted by Hon. Justice Adolphus Enebeli of the Rivers state High Court, stopping the Swearing in of Victoria Nyeche of Phalga Constituency 1 for impersonating wherein she wrote a petition to the CJN against the Assembly confirmation of CJ of Rivers state, using the letter head of the Assembly and addressing herself as member of the Assembly even when she had not been administered oath of office or sworn in.
The order was granted on April 20, 2016. Therefore, she will not be sworn in along others...
The matter has been adjourned to April 28 for the hearing of the substantive motion on notice.
Lawyer to Livingstone Wechie , Barrister Kingsley Chuku said that the Speaker has been served and Victoria Wechie will not be sworn in

This is a clear indication that the judiciary under president Buhari has not been biased in any form.If Wike is the Governor of rivers having survived a court case under buhari,then i believe buhari deserves commendation.NO POLITICIAN IS A SAINT!................its brotherDAVE on the net.

No! You got it wrong. She is in APC. She wasn't part of the re-run election. The courts didn't sack her!
