But to me that guy was just not so "super" in terms of music when he was alive.
Be reminding me of the likes of olamide and 9ice.
They all sing nothing.

Nigeria 2pac and 50cent(50cent was even rushed to hospital when he heard dagrin died). The real foundation of indigenous rap. Most people don't know how great he is.

Let's try to remove the log in our own eyes first, before removing the speck in others' eyes. I don't like hypocrisy.

also rip to eazy e,notorious b.i.g,2pac shakur ...godfathers of rap by the way ..rap wont be a thing without this guys .pple use to see rap music as a music of violence but rap is a way of expressing the hard life and poverty in the ghetto (2pac's definition of rap ) grin

True dat

But da C.E.O to me was ours, one we could claim a 100% ownership of and the scenarios he painted with his lyrics were local to us and could have described any of us but pac's depiction of life in da hood though we felt we could relate to (being black) were never local to us and apart from pon-pon-pon i might be wrong but i don't think any other grin's song addressed violence. Nigeria just isn't half as violent as the states mate. Therefore if you see any Nigerian rapper dripping or oozing violence in his lyrics then that dude needs checking

Then it means you think music is linear...dagrin had everything, from mad songs to street appeal and he wasn't vulgar....

All I'm saying is, the young man is dead. His people who love him are paying their respects . Why not leave them to adore their hero instead of busting their bubbles? Mind you, none of us is in heaven yet, or even guaranteed of it, not even your pastor for whom you have a lot of reverence.
